Ashtin Earle reveals the secret behind her golden CFDA Awards glow @ashtin/INSTAGRAM

Ashtin Earle has revealed the secret behind her striking golden glow at the 2026 CFDA Fashion Awards, admitting she went heavy on the fake tan and body glow for the occasion. The reality star joked that she felt like an Oscar as she arrived at the star-studded ceremony in New York City on Monday, 2 November 2026, with her bronzed complexion complementing a metallic Roberto Cavalli gown.

Far from being embarrassed by the dramatic finish, Ashtin made it clear she was delighted with her golden appearance, declaring: 'I'm very, very golden. But I'm loving it'.

Ashtin Earle Reveals Her Spray Tan Secret

Speaking in an interview on the red carpet at the American Museum of Natural History, Ashtin revealed exactly how she achieved her head-turning complexion. 'I've got a crazy spray tan on and a lot of body glow', she confessed, before comparing her appearance to the iconic golden statuette.

'I do kind of feel like an Oscar right now', she added.

The combination of a dramatic spray tan and luminous body products gave the star an intensely bronzed finish, which complemented the metallic sheen of her Roberto Cavalli gown. Rather than opting for a subtle sun-kissed look, Ashtin embraced a more dramatic golden effect for one of fashion's biggest nights.

While her complexion made a statement, the rest of her beauty look was deliberately understated. The Earle Meets World star revealed that her make-up inspiration was 'very much no make-up make-up', with the focus on glowing skin and minimal products.

One of the key products used was MAC Cosmetics' Lip Pencil in Stone, a cool-toned shade she described as one of her favourites. 'It's just this grayish, cool lip color that I'm obsessed with', she explained.

'I just wanted to keep it really minimal and gorgeous and showcase good skin and good vibes', she added. The contrast between her warm, bronzed complexion and cool-toned lip colour helped complete the look without competing with her shimmering gown.

Ashtin Earle Shares Her Beauty Secrets

Ashtin's appearance at the awards comes as she takes on a new role with MAC Cosmetics, having been announced in September 2026 as the newest face of MACzine, the brand's digital platform celebrating beauty and artistry.

The collaboration places her among a roster of talent featured by the cosmetics brand, including Jayden James, Olandria Carthen and Chappell Roan. Ashtin admitted that being associated with the company was a dream come true.

'It's really insane that I get to work with MAC and all these amazing people', she said. 'To be one of them, it's a dream come true. I'm so grateful and it's just so exciting'.

Despite her glamorous red-carpet appearances, Ashtin has some firm preferences when it comes to her everyday make-up. She revealed that pink shades are not her favourite, particularly when it comes to lipstick.

'One thing in makeup I don't like on myself is anything really pink', she said. 'Every time I try to put a pink lip on, I feel like I look like a clown, but it looks so good on other people'.

She also admitted that she regularly skips mascara, despite the product being considered a staple in many make-up routines. 'This might be controversial. I know most people always say no look is complete without mascara, but honestly when I'm doing my normal glam, I feel like I don't need it, but that's just a "me" thing', she explained.

Ashtin also credited her older sister, Alix Earle, with giving her a beauty tip that made a noticeable difference to her appearance: thinning out her eyebrows. 'The best beauty advice anyone has ever given me was when my sister told me to thin out my eyebrows', she said.

The CFDA Awards look may have been more dramatic than her usual make-up routine, but Ashtin was clearly happy to embrace the extra glow. With a 'crazy' spray tan, plenty of body glow and a metallic designer gown, she certainly had no trouble living up to her own Oscar comparison.
