Halsey has gone blonde, and it seems the internet immediately lost track of which famous face it was looking at.
The singer debuted a lighter hair transformation that revived a comparison fans have been making for years: Halsey and Millie Bobby Brown look suspiciously alike.
Throw blonde hair into the equation, and the resemblance evidently becomes even harder for some viewers to unsee.
The celebrity doppelgänger debate is hardly new. Fans have compared the pair's face shapes, eyes, cheekbones, and expressions for years, with discussions periodically resurfacing whenever either woman changes her hair, makeup, or styling.

Blonde Halsey Has Fans Seeing Double
Halsey's lighter locks appear to have given the old comparison fresh ammunition.
Some fans insist the similarities are especially visible through the pair's facial proportions and colouring, while others remain completely unconvinced.
'I see it!!' one Reddit user declared.
Another wrote: 'Omg I've always thought this!!!'
Then there was possibly the funniest explanation of the entire debate: 'She somehow looks like 50 different celebs to me.'
Others were just glad to see the hair colour make a comeback on the singer, 'WE MISSED BLONDSEY'.
Halsey has transformed her appearance many times throughout her career, making it practically impossible to pin down one definitive celebrity twin. Buzz cuts, wigs, long waves, dark brunette, red, and now blonde have all changed the framing around the singer's features.
Millie Bobby Brown has similarly experimented with everything from short hair to long blonde styles, meaning their resemblance can appear remarkably obvious in one photograph and virtually disappear in another.
As one particularly conflicted commenter put it: 'In these two pics—yes.', while another was more unfiltered in their opinion of the alleged resemblance: 'Nope. Halsey is gorgeous'.

Halsey Already Knows About the Millie Bobby Brown Comparisons
The funniest part is that nobody needs to break the news to Halsey. During a previous appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the singer openly acknowledged their resemblance when Fallon brought up who could portray Halsey in a hypothetical biopic.
'I know the answer,' Halsey said before Fallon produced a photograph connecting them with Brown.
Halsey jokingly replied, 'Oh, I was going to say you'.
The singer ultimately agreed that Brown would make an excellent choice and even remarked on how much they can resemble sisters.
Brown was apparently equally delighted by the suggestion and reportedly signalled that she would be up for playing Halsey on screen.
Halsey Became Eleven
Halsey has embraced the similarities even further, having previously dressing as Eleven, Brown's iconic Stranger Things character. During the interview, Jimmy Fallon showed viewers a photo of the 'Colors' singer in an Eleven costume for Halloween.

At that point, the celebrity lookalike comparison essentially became cosplay with supporting evidence. Add the right hairstyle, angle and makeup, and suddenly Hawkins may have found itself the grown-up version of Eleven.
On the other hand, sprinkle a little vocal edge and that raw confessional charm onto Millie Bobby Brown, and we might just see Eleven climbing the charts and winning Grammy nominations.
