Katie Price's venture into equestrian fashion has come to an end after her clothing company, KP Equestrian Ltd, was dissolved, marking another setback in the television personality's business portfolio. The closure follows a challenging period for Price, who has previously spoken publicly about rebuilding her finances while pursuing new commercial ventures beyond television.

The development also comes as public attention remains fixed on her husband, Lee Andrews, whose reported legal and financial difficulties in Dubai have dominated recent headlines. While the situation surrounding Andrews continues to unfold, Price has made it clear she does not intend to contribute towards the reported financial demands linked to his case, insisting she has her own responsibilities to manage.

A Fashion Venture Inspired by Her Passion for Horses

Unlike many celebrity fashion collections, KP Equestrian was rooted in one of Price's longest-standing personal interests. A keen horse rider for decades, she created the label to appeal to fellow equestrian enthusiasts looking for practical riding wear with a contemporary edge.

The collection featured riding leggings, body warmers, hoodies, T-shirts and casual clothing for women, men and children. Branded with the slogan 'Dazzle in the Saddle', the range blended everyday comfort with functional riding apparel and was regularly promoted at horse shows and equestrian events, where Price often met customers in person.

She also used social media and public appearances to raise the profile of the brand, while former partner Carl Woods appeared in promotional images modelling several pieces from the collection.

Business Decline Became Increasingly Visible

Although the brand initially benefited from Price's celebrity profile, signs of decline had become increasingly apparent.

The company's official website is no longer active, while its Instagram account has not been updated for around two years. The dissolution of KP Equestrian Ltd was subsequently recorded at Companies House, formally bringing the business to a close.

Recently filed accounts also illustrate the scale of the slowdown. The company reportedly held around £1,000 in cash, with net assets of approximately £15,000. In comparison, filings from 2022 placed the business's value at more than £26,000.

Price launched the label after her widely reported financial difficulties became public, with the fashion venture forming part of broader efforts to diversify her income through lifestyle products, media work and business partnerships.

Andrews' Legal Problems Add to Public Scrutiny

The closure coincides with renewed attention on Andrews, who has reportedly been detained in Dubai over unpaid debts.

According to multiple UK media reports, Andrews is facing reported prison-related financial demands estimated at between £100,000 and £120,000 while serving time at Al Awir prison.

Price has publicly distanced herself from those reported liabilities.

'There's nothing I can do,' she previously told The Sun.

'I'm not here to pay anything for anyone. I've got my own life. Even though he's part of my life.'

Her comments suggest she intends to keep her own finances separate from her husband's legal situation despite ongoing public interest in their relationship.

Celebrity Fashion Brands Face Tough Competition

The closure of KP Equestrian also reflects the wider challenges facing celebrity-owned fashion businesses.

While celebrity recognition can generate early interest, sustaining a clothing label requires consistent marketing, fresh product launches and strong customer engagement.

Niche brands aimed at specialist audiences, such as equestrian fashion, often face additional pressure from established retailers and changing consumer spending habits.

With KP Equestrian's online presence largely dormant before the company was dissolved, industry observers may view the closure as a sign of the increasingly competitive environment facing independent celebrity fashion labels.

Looking Ahead

Price has repeatedly reinvented her career through television, publishing, beauty collaborations and personal branding, demonstrating an ability to remain in the public eye despite professional and personal challenges.

Although KP Equestrian has now reached the end of its journey, its closure does not necessarily signal the end of Price's involvement in fashion or lifestyle ventures. Given her history of launching new projects, attention will likely turn to whether she introduces another brand in the future.

For now, however, the end of her equestrian label represents another significant chapter in her evolving business story. Combined with continuing headlines surrounding Andrews' reported legal difficulties, it places renewed focus on how Price manages both her public image and commercial interests while navigating another period of intense scrutiny.
