Kylie Jenner has put an immediate pause on expanding her family, saying that carrying another baby 'right now feels insane' while discussing surrogacy on The Girls: A Khloé Kardashian Project. The 29-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder made the revelation during a FaceTime call with Yris Palmer in the Hulu series, released on 21 August 2026, after Palmer revealed she was considering using a surrogate.

Jenner said she was almost certain surrogacy was not the right choice for her, although she stopped short of ruling it out completely. Her comments come months after she said she still wanted more children, suggesting that her current hesitation is about timing and the experience of pregnancy rather than a permanent decision to stop growing her family.

Jenner Is Not Choosing Surrogacy

Palmer's family plans prompted Jenner to consider whether she would ever take the same route. When asked whether she would use a surrogate, Jenner replied, 'I don't think so', before explaining that she was almost completely certain the option was not for her. She said, 'I don't want to say no, no, but I'm like 99.9 percent sure I couldn't do that.'

Jenner added that she has delivered 'big healthy babies', meaning she did not currently see a reason to pursue surrogacy. She shares daughter Stormi Webster, 8, and son Aire Webster, 4, with rapper Travis Scott. Her comments concerned both carrying another pregnancy now and using a surrogate, rather than permanently ruling out having another child.

That distinction matters because Jenner said in a cover interview published in March 2026 that she still wanted to expand her family eventually. 'In the last years of my twenties, I want to focus on just me, my businesses, my work, travelling with my kids and enjoying my kids,' she said. Jenner then added, 'I do want to have more kids', suggesting her latest remarks reflect her present priorities rather than a complete change of heart.

Chalamet Has Spoken About Fatherhood

Timothée Chalamet has also publicly discussed whether children could feature in his future. In an interview published on 6 November 2025, the Dune and Marty Supreme actor recalled watching someone celebrate the freedom of not having children. Chalamet described that outlook as 'bleak' before confirming that fatherhood was something he would like to experience.

When asked whether he saw children in his future, Chalamet answered, 'That could be on the radar'. He did not offer a timeline or say whether those plans involved Jenner, whom he has dated since 2023. His answer nevertheless showed that the 30-year-old Oscar-nominated actor was open to becoming a father someday.

The couple have largely kept their relationship out of interviews, but Chalamet publicly acknowledged Jenner at the Critics Choice Awards on 4 January 2026. After winning best actor for Marty Supreme, he called Jenner his 'partner of three years' and thanked her for their foundation. 'I love you. I couldn't do this without you,' he said from the stage as Jenner watched from the audience.

Their Timelines May Still Align

Jenner and Chalamet's comments may sound different when placed side by side, but neither has confirmed that they disagree about starting a family together. Jenner said pregnancy felt overwhelming 'right now', while Chalamet described children as a possibility without setting a date. Neither star specifically connected their remarks to shared baby plans.

Jenner's resistance also appears to concern the process as much as the outcome. She is not interested in carrying another baby at present and is almost certain she would not use a surrogate, but she has separately said she wants more children in the future. For now, her focus remains on Stormi and Aire, her businesses and enjoying the final year of her twenties.
