Following the viral attention, Cheyenne reportedly addressed the backlash on Facebook. In a post, which appears to have since been deleted, Cheyenne explained that she and her mother originally had floor seats before Usher's team moved them to VIP seating ahead of the show.
She said they were not told exactly what would happen if she was invited onstage, suggesting she did not know she would be part of a sensual performance.
In her post, Cheyenne defended her decision to go onstage and pushed back against comments suggesting she should have refused the opportunity.
'First off NOBODY is declining to go on stage. I looked good asf, you thought I wasn't gonna let THOUSANDS of people see me??' she wrote. She also described the VIP upgrade as 'pretty privileges.'
Cheyenne also questioned why viewers expected her to react in a more dramatic way, saying some people were assuming she should have taken part in a more intimate interaction with the singer.
