A source close to Grande's family told Daily Mail that they have repeatedly encouraged the singer to prioritise her health over work.
'We have asked her to take a break. Actually we've begged her, like a lot. A lot a lot,' the insider said. The source explained that they were not referring to a short holiday but an extended period away from public life, adding: 'She is not well. She is anxious and unhappy. She doesn't sleep enough, doesn't eat enough.'
The same insider said her family and close friends are 'very concerned' and believe taking time away is the best way for the Grammy-winning singer to focus on her wellbeing.
