Toni, who uses the username @babytoni99, has shared footage of her visits to Disneyland and said her Peter Pan fandom has lasted more than 10 years. The videos have led some viewers to accuse her of going too far, while others have defended her as a passionate Disney fan.

The debate comes as her videos continue to draw millions of views across TikTok and other social media platforms. The case has also raised a wider question about where the line should be drawn when fans build close and repeated interactions with theme park characters.

Peter Pan Videos Spark a Wave of Criticism

Much of the attention began with a nearly five-minute TikTok showing Toni spending time with a Peter Pan performer at Disneyland. The video, described as another adventure with the character, has gained more than 20 million views and 1.5 million likes, according to Dexerto.

In the clip, Toni gives Peter Pan a handmade crocheted toy and speaks with the character while he remains in costume. She is also seen walking through parts of Disneyland with Peter Pan and other characters, creating a video that quickly spread across social media.

Toni later shared photos showing her meetings with Peter Pan from 2016 to 2026. The footage shows different performers playing the character over the years, suggesting that her long-running interest is focused on Peter Pan rather than one specific actor.

The 10-year timeline has become a major part of the online debate. Toni has described her Peter Pan fandom as '10+ years and counting of visiting Neverland once a week', a claim that has drawn both support and criticism from viewers.

Former Disney Performer Shares His Own Experience

A former Disney character performer has added another side to the debate. Joshua, a TikToker who said he previously worked as a character performer at Walt Disney World and played Peter Pan, said he had experienced unwanted attention from a guest while working.

Joshua claimed that the woman would repeatedly come to his Peter Pan line during his shifts. He also said she would circle the queue and ask questions that he considered disturbing and inappropriate.

His comments do not show that the Disneyland performers in Toni's videos have made the same complaint. In fact, Dexerto reported that none of the performers featured in Toni's videos has publicly accused her of harassment or stalking.

Joshua said his own experience made him concerned about how some character performers are treated at Disney parks. He also claimed that performers playing Disney princesses have faced unwanted behaviour from some older guests.

Disney Fans Defend Toni Amid the Backlash

Despite the criticism, Toni has also received support from Disney fans and people who have worked at the parks. Some defenders say the videos show public interactions between a guest and performers whose job is to entertain visitors.

A former Disney cast member named Thomas reportedly argued that the videos appear to feature different Peter Pan performers. He suggested that Toni's interest is therefore more about the character than a particular person behind the costume.

Other supporters have also pushed back against what they see as online bullying. One Disney content creator who is friends with Toni reportedly said she is a kind person who simply wants to enjoy her hobby and share it with viewers.

Toni herself appeared to respond to some of the criticism in another TikTok. She wrote, 'Just saying; if he didn't wanna be around me he would literally run away'.

The controversy has once again placed the term 'Disney adult' under the spotlight. Disney adults are grown fans who have a strong interest in Disney films, characters, merchandise or theme parks, but the label can cover a wide range of people and levels of fandom.
