Close-up images circulating online appear to show several small personalised designs along the sides of the shoes, including imagery that users have interpreted as references to her late husband, Charlie Kirk.
She and Leavitt appeared together as part of Turning Point USA's 'This Is the Turning Point Tour', which resumed its college stops in the spring. The George Washington University appearance marked the first stop of that leg of the tour.

There is also no verified evidence that 'Kirkies' is an official product name or that the trainers are being sold as Turning Point USA merchandise. The nickname appears to be social media slang attached to the shoes after photographs of them circulated online.
