Kim Kardashian's London bike ride with Lewis Hamilton has sparked a cheeky response from one of Lime's biggest rivals. London e-bike company Forest called out Kardashian after she and Hamilton were spotted riding bright green Lime bikes around the capital. Forest jokingly told the reality star it had a 'bone to pick' with her after she chose its rival for the outing.
The playful post comes as Kardashian and Hamilton have been spending more time together in public. Their London ride took place while Kardashian was in the city for the opening of her SKIMS flagship store on Regent Street.
Forest Calls Out Kardashian
Forest shared a playful post aimed at Kardashian after photos of the star riding a Lime bike began spreading online. The graphic opened with the words, 'KIM, we have a bone to pick with you (or should we say bucket).'
The company then joked about not being the bike Kardashian chose for her London trip. The post used a picture of Kardashian riding a bike, with a giant lime placed over the front wheel, making the joke about her choice of Lime hard to miss.
Forest describes itself as London's homegrown shared e-bike company and says its bikes operate across 19 London boroughs.
Lime and Forest Compete
Forest's joke makes more sense because the two companies compete for riders across London. Lime is a global shared transport company offering short-term electric bike and scooter rentals in cities around the world.
Forest has a much more local image. The company says it began as an idea in a London pub garden in 2019 and now offers shared e-bikes across 19 boroughs.
Both companies have become part of London's growing dockless e-bike market. A Guardian investigation published in September found that London councils had seized more than 2,000 Lime bikes over poor or unsafe parking in 2026, while Forest ranked second with 978. Operators said more dedicated parking infrastructure was needed as demand for shared e-bikes continued to grow.
Kardashian and Hamilton Choose Lime
Kardashian, 45, and Hamilton, 41, were photographed riding Lime bikes around London on 18 September. They were joined by friends during the casual outing. The pair dressed down for the trip. Kardashian wore a white top with black leggings and a dark jacket, while Hamilton stood out in a leopard-print outfit with black leggings.
Their bike ride came during Kardashian's busy London visit for the opening of the SKIMS flagship on Regent Street. The pair later appeared together in Los Angeles at the opening of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art on 19 September.
Lime Gets Celebrity Attention
The London trip gave Lime some unexpected celebrity attention. Pictures showed Kardashian and Hamilton cycling together during their visit to the capital. It was not their first bike ride to attract attention. Kardashian previously shared a photo and video from a bike ride with Hamilton in June, two months after the pair had first made their relationship Instagram official.
This time, however, a rival brand joined the conversation. Forest's joke turned a simple celebrity bike ride into some light-hearted brand competition, showing how even Kardashian's choice of transport can become part of the online conversation.
