'Justin and Hailey Bieber were not fighting in the photos taken at Finneas and Claudia Sulewski's wedding this weekend,' the account wrote, adding that unnamed sources said the pair had not fought at the wedding or during the photographed interaction. Because those sources were anonymous and neither Justin nor Hailey has publicly explained the conversation, the denial does not independently establish what happened, but it directly contradicts claims that the photographs prove a fight.

Justin's own Instagram offered a different glimpse of the couple at the same wedding. On 30 August, the Daisies singer posted several close-up selfies with Hailey from the outdoor ceremony, including photographs of the pair sitting together against the Montecito landscape.
