Kaia Gerber has shared an extraordinary story from her childhood, revealing that she was once told she was 'possessed' and even underwent an exorcism. The model and actress made the surprising admission while appearing on the video podcast Mitch Churi Chat Show, where she also opened up about her lifelong experiences with what she described as the supernatural.
The revelation came as Gerber discussed working with Ryan Murphy, whose projects include American Horror Story. She recalled that her mum, supermodel Cindy Crawford, was so concerned about the horror series that she sent her daughter to set with holy water. But that was not the first time Crawford had apparently worried about supernatural forces around her daughter.

Gerber said she had been 'haunted' for much of her life and claimed she feels she can attract 'beings from other dimensions'.
Her comments put a new spin on her previous remarks about working on American Horror Story: Double Feature in 2021. Gerber previously recalled that Crawford gave her holy water before she went to set because she did not want her daughter to become possessed.
Gerber said Crawford's reaction was linked to the fact that she had already been told she was possessed as a child.
The conversation then took an even more unexpected turn when she was asked whether she had ever actually undergone an exorcism. 'I actually did,' Gerber said, before explaining what she remembered about the unusual ritual. 'They played a didgeridoo all over me,' she revealed.
A didgeridoo is a traditional Australian Aboriginal wind instrument. It's typically made from a long, hollow wooden tube that produces a deep, resonant sound when played.
Gerber appeared to treat the bizarre memory with a sense of humour, but was clear that she was not making it up. 'That actually did happen,' she added, explaining that she had never previously spoken about the experience publicly.
She finished the revelation by saying she was 'all healed'.
Gerber's Acting Career Takes Another Step
The revelation comes as Gerber promotes The Shards, the new FX adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis' 2023 novel, created by Ryan Murphy.
The series is set in 1980s Los Angeles and marks another step in Gerber's growing acting career. She previously appeared in American Horror Story: Double Feature, making her connection to Murphy's work particularly fitting.
She also stars in The Shards alongside Homer Gere, the son of actor Richard Gere. Richard was famously married to Crawford from 1991 until their divorce in 1995, adding another unexpected family connection to Gerber's latest project.
