Kandi Burruss has hit back at her ex-husband Todd Tucker after he revealed that they had threesomes during 'most of' their 11-year marriage, accusing him of 'sensationalising' their sex life to gain attention.

The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star responded after Tucker discussed the intimate details in a trailer for his upcoming project, Til Divorce Do Us Part. Burruss said the disclosure had caused further hurt and argued that what happened between them during their marriage should have remained private.

Todd Tucker Makes Threesome Revelation

Tucker, 53, made the revelation in the trailer for Til Divorce Do Us Part, a project centred on the experiences of men following relationships connected to the Real Housewives franchise.

In the footage, Peter Thomas, who was previously married to Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey, asks Tucker whether he and Burruss had threesomes during their marriage.

'We did. I would say [for] most of our marriage, we did,' Tucker replies.

Thomas then appears surprised by the admission, asking, 'For real?' Tucker confirms that he is telling the truth, prompting Thomas to respond: 'I'm a saint!'

The exchange has put the intimate details of Burruss and Tucker's former marriage back in the spotlight, months after their divorce was finalised.

Burruss Fires Back Over 'Private' Sex Life

Burruss, 50, has now responded directly to Tucker's comments, taking issue with his decision to publicly discuss their sex life.

'A man who has already hurt me to my core is furthering the damage by choosing to sensationalise our sex life to stretch his five minutes of fame,' Burruss told PEOPLE.

She continued: 'What consensually happens between a husband and wife in the privacy of their marriage is exactly that: private.'

The singer and former reality TV star also connected Tucker's latest comments with her decision to end their relationship.

'His current behaviour has only confirmed that I did the right thing by getting divorced. I do, I did, I'm done!' she said.

Her response places the focus firmly on the question of privacy, rather than simply the sexual revelation itself. While Tucker has chosen to discuss an aspect of their marriage publicly, Burruss has made clear that she does not want those intimate experiences turned into public entertainment.

Their Divorce Was Finalised In March

Burruss and Tucker announced their decision to divorce in November 2025 after 11 years of marriage. The pair had married in April 2014 and share two children, son Ace and daughter Blaze, who was born via surrogate in 2019.

At the time of the divorce announcement, Burruss said the decision had followed 'deep thought and a lot of prayer'. She also said that her priorities were protecting her peace, being the best mother she could be and co-parenting with love and respect. The divorce was officially finalised in March 2026, with the former couple agreeing to joint physical and legal custody of Ace and Blaze. Details of their visitation schedule were sealed.

The settlement also resolved financial issues between the former couple, with court documents detailing a lump-sum payment from Burruss to Tucker connected to their shared property.

A Marriage That Had Been 'Brewing' Towards the End

The latest dispute comes after Burruss previously indicated that the breakdown of her marriage had been developing for some time.

In February, she said on Watch What Happens Live that their separation had begun in July 2025, although she declined to discuss the specific circumstances behind the split publicly. She described the process as difficult while stressing the importance of maintaining a peaceful co-parenting relationship.

Burruss later described herself as feeling 'emotionally broken' following the divorce, adding another layer to her response to Tucker's decision to revisit intimate aspects of their marriage publicly.

There were also reports during the divorce proceedings about alleged marital problems and Tucker communicating with other women. Those reports were attributed to sources and should not be treated as established findings.

Custody Dispute Added to Divorce Battle

The former couple's separation also involved disagreements over custody and their prenuptial agreement. Tucker sought primary custody during the divorce proceedings and raised concerns about the circumstances surrounding the signing of their prenup. Those were claims made during the legal proceedings, not facts.

Ultimately, the pair reached an agreement covering custody and their divorce, with both continuing to share parental responsibilities for their children.

Burruss Draws a Line Over Their Past

Despite the end of their marriage, Burruss and Tucker remain connected through their children and have continued to navigate co-parenting after the divorce. But Tucker's latest revelation has opened a new chapter in their post-marriage dispute, this time centred on who gets to tell the story of their relationship.

For Burruss, the issue is not simply that Tucker has discussed their past. She objects that intimate experiences from their marriage have been made public after the relationship ended. Her message is clear: while their marriage may now be over, she believes the private details of that relationship should remain between the people who lived it.
