Keke Palmer has officially received her witch's license. Although, in her case, that stands for 'Woman in Total Command of Herself'.

The actress celebrated her 33rd birthday with a Sabrina the Teenage Witch-inspired coven party, complete with potions, fortunes, candle-making, henna, fairy lights, and enough bewitching fashion to put a spell on Salem—both the world domination-plotting cat and the city.

And yes, the party was themed after the '90s Sabrina. Melissa Joan Hart's Sabrina. The fabulously understated teenage witch who could accidentally ruin her entire week with one poorly aimed spell and still make it to school looking like Harvey Kinkle's dream girl.

Palmer claimed the Sabrina role for herself like it was a birthday privilege, and she portrayed it like magic.

'I was dressed like our favorite understated witch on the planet.. SABRINA, duh,' she wrote on Instagram. 'Melissa Joan Heart has my heart.'

And Keke Palmer has our hearts, as her birthday ensemble put everyone under her spell.

The Witching Hour of Coven Couture

Rather than recreating one of Hart's outfits stitch for stitch, Palmer cast a modern-day fashion spell on Sabrina's famous wardrobe.

The birthday girl wore a blue leopard-print mini co-ord with black knee-high stockings, chunky Mary Jane heels, and a mandatory choker. Aside from perfecting the Sabrina Spellman aesthetic, she may have unlocked one of the trendiest, non-tacky ways to revive the animal-print fad.

Palmer's reddish hair was styled into a bouncy 'do that looked ready for a trip to Westbridge High. Her makeup also made a festive statement thanks to her metallic blue eyeliner and voluminous eyelashes that came to start drama. The birthday girl was the epitome of Sabrina Spellman, but make her 33, more fabulous, and legally allowed near the liquor potions.

While the Hustlers actress was a witch undercover, her coven went for a delightfully darker genre of witchhood. Guests opted for classic witch-core in black dresses, corsetry, lace, and elaborate chokers, as if they had gathered to perform a very stylish ritual.

Happy Birthday, Witch

Palmer's backyard was transformed with fairy lights, candles, moody flowers, amber goblets, and glittering gold tableware. 'Coven Women' bags hung from chairs while a fortune teller waited nearby, presumably prepared to reveal whether Mercury retrograde was about to ruin the group chat, or if the Lovers tarot card meant a coffee shop soulmate is three days away.

There was henna, candle-making, and drinks Palmer herself called 'liquor potion', adding a crafty edge to a soiree peppered with witchcraft.

The birthday cake was equally wicked: a towering, gloriously messy chocolate creation covered in tall candles.

Palmer said the group 'did the girliest shit ever', including talking about their feelings, manifesting over their lives, making candles and, naturally, 'burned shit!'—just regular 21st-century witch activities, as per usual.

One coven couldn't contain 33-year-old Palmer. She revealed she had been feeling overwhelmed planning her birthday, 'so naturally I did two parties', with another celebration including dinner with Jessica Alba and Baby2Baby CEO Kelly Sawyer.

At 33, Palmer didn't merely don an enchanting co-ord that Sabrina Spellman would approve of. She celebrated another flight around the sun and being one of the most well-dressed witches on the planet.

The potions were flowing, the coven was serving, and the chocolate cake looked suspiciously perfect. Witchcraft confirmed.
