Khloé Kardashian has never been shy about her weight-loss journey, but her latest admission cuts deeper than any before. On her podcast Khloé in Wonder Land, she revealed that stylists who once refused to dress her for photo shoots, citing her size, came crawling back the moment she slimmed down. Her reaction was blunt and unforgiving.
The Kardashian star said she was treated as an afterthought on set, while her sisters, Kourtney and Kim, were showered with options. 'I was too much work for stylists, or they had nothing in my size,' she recalled. 'I wasn't even that crazy big.'
Some stylists went further, telling her outright that they simply could not work with her. Years later, those same names resurfaced once her body changed, and Khloé was ready for them.
How Kim and Kourtney Got Priority Treatment
For years, Khloé has spoken about the gap between how she and her sisters were treated on shoots.
While racks were pulled and fittings arranged without a second thought for Kourtney and Kim, Khloé says she was regularly left with nothing to wear or told there was no size available for her.
She first publicly disclosed this disparity in a 2016 interview with Harper's Bazaar, an account she has revisited today with fewer reservations.

After Khloé's body changed following her divorce from Lamar Odom, she noticed that the same industry that had once excluded her began reaching out to her. Instead of viewing this newfound attention as validation, she recognised it for what it truly was.
'I'm the same person, but aesthetically I look different,' she said. 'Your treatment of me is so vastly different, and it makes me feel gross.' She has been open about how uncomfortable that shift made her, and about what it says more broadly.
If kindness appears only when someone meets certain standards, then it was never true kindness to begin with. It was merely a response to a person finally gaining the room's acceptance. Khloé has made it clear that she is not interested in being praised for other people's delayed recognition of basic decency.
No Reward for Bad Behaviour
Khloé draws a hard boundary with the stylists who once turned her away, calling out their timing rather than pretending it never happened. 'I'm not going to reward your bad behaviour,' she said of the stylists who wanted back in once she fit the sample size they had always been dressing her sisters in.
Khloé's refusal to conform extends beyond her personal wardrobe choices. When she launched Good American in 2016, she designed the brand to include sizes up to 24 without creating a separate 'plus' section. This decision was a direct response to an industry that had previously deemed her unworthy to be dressed. Each retailer that stocks her collection without imposing a 'too big' cutoff serves as a rebuttal to those stylists who never got the chance to apologise in person.
Khloé understands that her fame has given her access to opportunities that most women may never experience, even during her heaviest times. However, she realises that access does not always equate to respect, especially in fitting rooms. The stylists who once rejected her no longer have a say.
