Kylie Jenner has officially entered her 29th birthday era, and naturally, she did it in pink.

The beauty mogul celebrated ahead of her actual birthday with a glamorous 'Princess Kitty' bash at her Beverly Hills home days before turning 29 on 10 August. Jenner later shared a glimpse of the party on Instagram, calling it her 'dream princess kitty bday night'.

The celebration was every bit as playful as its name suggests, complete with pink outfits, sparkling tiaras, fluffy feather boas and elaborate decorations setting the tone. Jenner leaned fully into a fantasy princess aesthetic with a distinctly feline twist.

Kylie Jenner & Her 'Princess Kitty' Party

For her own birthday look, Jenner made sure she was the centre of attention. She wore a form-fitting, hot pink latex halter minidress paired with a light pink feather boa, a matching feathered headband and feather-trimmed sandals.

The outfit was also finished with coordinated hot pink nails, giving the look a playful Y2K-meets-Barbie feel. Jenner's fluffy sandals were by Gucci from the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, priced at $1,580 (around £1,200).

Her guest list included sisters Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, alongside Hailey Bieber, Devon Lee Carlson and Victoria Villarroel. Justin Bieber was reportedly spotted at the celebration, while it remains unconfirmed whether Jenner's boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, attended.

The dessert table was just as playful as the rest of Jenner's 'Princess Kitty' celebration, with three elaborate cakes taking centre stage.

According to Vogue, the cakes were designed by Cory Pohlman and included a white cake covered in colourful jewel-like embellishments, a pink cake with cats in party hats, and a troso-shaped cake in pink bikini.

Bringing Back the 'King Kylie' Era

The 'Princess Kitty' party arrives during another very pink chapter for Jenner.

In July, she brought back bubblegum pink hair for her collaboration with Dunkin', reviving one of the most recognisable aesthetics from her earlier 'King Kylie' era. The colourful look immediately recalled the period when Jenner was known for her bold hair transformations, full-glam selfies, statement outfits and highly curated social media presence.

The 'King Kylie' era generally refers to the period around the mid-2010s when Jenner became one of the most influential young stars on social media. Her style during those years was defined by experimentation, from brightly coloured wigs and dramatic makeup to body-conscious outfits and playful accessories.

She regularly changed her hair colour and appearance, helping establish the image that made 'King Kylie' a familiar nickname among her fans. Her social media posts also became a major part of her public image, with her distinctive looks frequently inspiring beauty and fashion trends.

From Reality Star to Beauty Mogul

Kylie Jenner first rose to fame as the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner family on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which premiered in 2007.

As her profile grew, she turned her influence in beauty and fashion into a business empire, launching Kylie Cosmetics in 2015. The brand became particularly known for its Lip Kits, helping Jenner establish herself as a major name in the beauty industry.

She later expanded her portfolio with other ventures, including Kylie Skin and fashion brand Khy, while continuing to build her personal brand through social media and beauty campaigns.

Now, at 29, Jenner's career extends well beyond reality television. Her latest birthday celebration is another example of how closely her personal style, beauty influence and business image remain connected.
