Working behind the scenes in a celebrity household might sound glamorous, but one former employee claims the reality was anything but. Kylie Jenner is facing a fresh lawsuit from her former private chef, who alleges she endured exhausting 11 to 12-hour shifts, physically demanding work and little support despite informing supervisors she was pregnant.
The woman claims those demanding working conditions ultimately ended in a devastating pregnancy loss. Her allegations, which have not been proven in court, have placed Jenner's workplace under renewed scrutiny and mark the third employment-related lawsuit filed against the reality star in recent months.
Her Employment at Kylie Jenner's Home
According to the lawsuit, the woman was offered the role around Thanksgiving 2024 and soon began working in Jenner's household. Weeks after accepting the position, she says she informed her supervisors that she was three months pregnant.
Despite sharing the news, the former chef alleges her workload remained physically demanding. Court documents claim she regularly worked between 11 and 12 hours a day, five days a week, while also carrying out tasks that required significant physical effort.
The lawsuit argues that no meaningful adjustments were made to accommodate her pregnancy, despite her supervisors being aware of her condition.
The Heavy Lifting Left Her Struggling
One of the key allegations centres on New Year's Eve 2024. The former chef claims she was instructed to transport heavy food items across a street and uphill without assistance. According to the lawsuit, the task became so physically demanding that she was left 'choking and gasping for air'.
She alleges security staff eventually stepped in to help by providing water and assisting her after she struggled to continue. The incident has become one of the most significant claims in the legal filing, with the former employee arguing it reflected the demanding conditions she faced while pregnant.
The Birthday Party That Changed Everything
The lawsuit also highlights Jenner's child's birthday celebration in Palm Springs around 1 February 2025. The former chef claims she was assigned to work the event but says she received no 'adequate support' throughout the day. She alleges she repeatedly asked supervisors for assistance, but those requests were ignored.

By the end of the event, she says she was emotionally and physically exhausted. The following morning, she experienced severe haemorrhaging and was rushed to hospital. According to the lawsuit, doctors informed her that she had lost her baby.
The Comment That Drew Attention
Beyond the physical allegations, the lawsuit also includes claims about how the former employee says she was treated emotionally after the loss. She alleges that while she was visibly distressed, a supervisor told her, 'Stop it, just stop it. You are upsetting Kylie. You are making her depressed.'
The alleged comment was not made by Jenner herself, according to the lawsuit, but by a supervisor working at her home. Even so, it has become one of the most talked about parts of the legal complaint because of its timing and the emotional impact described by the former chef.
Another Legal Challenge for Kylie Jenner
The lawsuit marks the third legal complaint reportedly filed against the reality star involving former household staff. Two previous lawsuits were brought by individuals who claim they worked as housekeepers at Jenner's home.
Although each case involves different allegations, the latest filing has added further attention to the working environment inside Jenner's private household. Jenner has not publicly responded to the former chef's allegations. Reports state that requests for comment have been made, but no response had been issued at the time of writing.
The Claims Have Yet To Be Proven
The former chef is seeking damages, arguing that the demanding working conditions she experienced while pregnant directly contributed to the loss of her baby. Whether the court ultimately agrees with those claims will depend on the evidence presented as the legal proceedings continue.
The case has shifted attention away from Jenner's public image and towards questions about the alleged working conditions behind the doors of one of Hollywood's most famous homes. Until Jenner responds or the case progresses through court, the allegations remain one side of an ongoing legal dispute.
