Doing justice to her character in The Odyssey, Lupita Nyong'o is busy launching a thousand headlines in awe of her press tour style.

The Oscar-winning actress has officially entered her Greek goddess era, commanding attention across the film's press tour with looks that feel nothing short of mythological and phenomenal. As she takes on the role of Helen of Troy (widely regarded as the face that launched a thousand ships) Nyong'o appears to be doing exactly that on every red carpet that she graces.

Mirroring the legendary essence of The Odyssey, Nyong'o's style choices were simply epic.

A Goddess Entrance in Liquid Silver

For the film's premiere, Nyong'o delivered a standout moment in a shimmering crystal-embellished gown from Christian Cowan's Fall 2026 collection.

The sleeveless design featured a sleek, elongated silhouette, elevated by dramatically plunging side cutouts that showcased her figure with strategic precision. The metallic finish caught the light like magic, creating a liquid silver effect that was both futuristic and timeless. The show-stopping aesthetic perfectly aligned with the film's reimagining of a classical epic.

Styled by Micaela Erlanger, the look was kept intentionally minimal, allowing the craftsmanship of the gown to take centre stage. Her understated jewellery completed the ensemble, reinforcing Nyong'o's ability to command attention with her presence alone.

The result was a red carpet appearance that would make Olympus nod in approval.

A Modern Grecian Moment in Soft Neutrals

For this press tour look, Nyong'o embraced relaxed tailoring in a pale beige Frankie Shop set, pairing an oversized polo, wide-leg trousers, and a cropped trench with gold-beaded sandals. The understated elegance of the ensemble delivered an effortless, Grecian-inspired aura peppered in modern minimalism.

Soft structure and fluid movement allowed the look to feel both powerful and serene, proving that simplicity, when executed with precision, can be just as commanding as high-glamour statements.

A Modern Helen of Troy in Chanel

For the London photocall, Nyong'o struck a pose in a sophisticated Chanel Resort 2027 look that traded overt Grecian references for sharp, modern flair. The ivory dress, framed with bold black trim, radiated classic Chanel refinement while still nodding towards Helen of Troy.

Elevated with classic cap-toe pumps and finished with charming diamond jewellery, the ensemble proved that Chanel is always a good idea.

The Odyssey of Lupita Nyong'o's Wardrobe: Dressing Like a Demi-god

As anticipation builds sky-high for Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, the film's scale is matched only by its star power. Matt Damon leads as Odysseus, with Anne Hathaway as Penelope, and Tom Holland as Telemachus. Further building the star-studded cast, Zendaya steps into the big shoes of Athena, while Charlize Theron stars as the equally mesmerising Calypso. Robert Pattinson also joins the ensemble as Antinous, one of Queen Penelope's suitors.

With its sweeping mythology and groundbreaking IMAX production, the film is already shaping up to be a colossal cinematic event. And if the press tour is any indication, the fashion is rising to meet the legend—because Lupita Nyong'o's wardrobe is truly fit for a demi-god.
