They haven't shared a roof in nearly a decade, but that didn't seem obvious at the front row at Christian Louboutin's Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 in Paris. Will and Jada Pinkett Smith descended on Palais Brongniart as a fully assembled family unit, and the sight of it was enough to stop the fashion world in its tracks.
Joining Will and Jada in Paris were daughter Willow Smith, Will's eldest son Trey Smith, and Jada's mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris. This wasn't a spontaneous family vacation, however, as the unit was all there for one reason.
The Whole Family Showed up Dressed for the Occasion
The Smiths certainly made a statement at the front row of Louboutin. Jada went deep into the archives, pulling out the brand's Bow Bow sandals from its 2012 twentieth anniversary collection. She paired it with a dramatic, ruffled thigh-high slit skirt and strapless bandeau top.
Will went the opposite direction, opting for the Cocoriclou boots in black leather with metal spike embellishments running along the distinctive red sole. He finished the look with a bold red bandana tucked into his waistband and oversized tinted sunglasses.
Jaden's siblings tried to keep it lowkey in a monochrome ensemble. Willow showed up in her brother's own designs, wearing the Asclepius Sling leather mules from the current collection, while Trey went for the Trapman TCT 2 boots. And grandmother Adrienne? She showed up in a shiny gold blouse and quietly stole the whole show.
It Was All for Jaden
The reason the whole family got on a plane was 27-year-old Jaden Smith, who has been on a serious career run as Christian Louboutin's first-ever men's Creative Director since being appointed last September. The Spring/Summer 2027 presentation at Palais Brongniart was another major milestone in that journey, and his family wasn't going to miss it.
A source close to the family put it plainly. 'Will and Jada love each other and absolutely maintain a steady relationship, but what you are seeing is full support of their kids. They are proud of them.' No further explanation was given.
They Still Live Separately
Back in 2023, Jada revealed the couple had been living separate lives since 2016. This admission reframed years of public speculation about their marriage. Despite that, the two still flew to Paris, coordinated outfits, sat side by side in the front row, and took photos as a family.
Jada has always been clear that divorce was never part of the plan, saying she made a promise there would never be a reason for them to get one and that they'd work through whatever came. According to a source, 'working through' looks less dramatic than you'd think. 'They love each other, but each needs space. They are good with it. They have talked through it.'
After years of being a hot topic online, their son's show seemed to be a solemn spotting of the two. Their joint appearance in Paris demonstrated their commitment to being there for their children. The fact that Trey was there, too, Will's son from his earlier relationship with Sheree Zampino, says everything about how broadly this family defines itself. They are blended, separated, and still very much together in the ways that matter to them.
