The couple, who married in 2022, had previously joked about using the name if they welcomed a son.

With a daughter now on the way, however, there are still other contenders. Tay said she and the Twilight actor currently have around three to five names in consideration.
So, baby Taylor is neither confirmed nor eliminated, but it's good to know the name is still in the running.

Whatever name eventually wins, the Lautners have been enthusiastically preparing for their daughter's arrival. Earlier this month, the couple celebrated with a pink-themed baby shower, where Tay dressed accordingly and shared that their 'little girl is already so loved'.
The mum-to-be has also been thinking about how much of her daughter's life she wants to share publicly. During a June appearance on the Unplanned Podcast, Tay explained that she currently plans to keep her child off social media, although she acknowledged that her feelings could eventually change.
For now, she's keeping some things private, including the answer to the question the internet desperately wants settled.
