Taylor Swift has never shown up to a red carpet without turning heads, and her appearance at the Toy Story 5 premiere in Los Angeles was no different. More than just a dress, her outfit was a piece of storytelling that connected a 20th-anniversary London Fashion Week to a Pixar franchise, a new country single, and a Victorian-era horseshoe pendant.

She joined Tom Hanks, Joan Cusack and the rest of the Toy Story 5 cast at the premiere in a piece from one of British fashion's most quietly revered houses, and nothing about this choice was accidental. Here is everything you need to know about the whimsical ERDEM dress and how to recreate Swift's look.

Why She Chose ERDEM's 'Imaginary Conversation' Collection

The dress comes from ERDEM's 20th anniversary collection, 'The Imaginary Conversation', which Moralıoğlu described as a blend of past and present. This theme connects to the film and Swift's contribution, 'I Knew It, I Knew You', a harmonica-led country ballad written for Jessie the Cowgirl that reflects nostalgia and the desire to be remembered, paralleling the collection's essence.

Stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer pulled an off-the-shoulder mint-green minidress straight from the ERDEM Fall 2026 runway, with mismatched floral swatches sewn into a pannier skirt that quietly channels Bo Peep's silhouette, sitting against a cinched corset waist.

The prairie textures and patchwork florals nod to Jessie's handmade, ranch-aesthetic world, while the structured corset and crystal embroidery anchor this look in contemporary fashion.

How to Get Her 'Toy Story 5' Premiere Look

If you want to recreate the look, here is what you're working with. The dress itself is from the ERDEM Fall 2026 collection, currently available via private couture pre-order through ERDEM's London atelier. Once the collection launches in retail later this year, you can find it at Net-A-Porter, Moda Operandi, and official ERDEM boutiques.

Even when it came to the jewellery, she stayed on theme. Swift wore an antique horseshoe diamond pendant from Sophie Jane Jewels, set with Old Mine-cut diamonds. It's a direct nod to Jessie and Bullseye's world that only true fans may notice.

She completed the look with Le Vian earrings and strappy brown heels by Alevi Milano, a deliberate choice that elongated her silhouette without drawing attention away from the dress. Truly committing to the bit, she was also spotted holding a VHS copy of the original Toy Story, signed by members of the cast.

BONUS: A Yellow Oscar de la Renta Performance Gown

The ERDEM minidress was not the only look of the evening. After the screening, Swift changed into a plunging, floor-length lemon-yellow Oscar de la Renta gown, sleeveless and embroidered with flowers, to take the stage for a surprise performance.

She performed 'I Knew It, I Knew You' alongside the Randy Newman classic 'You've Got a Friend in Me' to a standing ovation. The colour shift from mint green to lemon yellow felt intentional too, both sitting within the soft, pastel palette of the Toy Story world without resorting to anything literal.
