Topshop has finally taken meaningful steps toward size inclusivity by revisiting its back catalogue. The Autumn/Winter 2026 denim collection features sizes up to a 40-inch waist, which roughly translates to a UK size 22 to 24. The relaunch includes the iconic zebra prints and barrel legs that defined the brand's most celebrated era.
It is a calculated move. Shoppers have spent years highlighting the gap between size-inclusive marketing and the products actually available in stores. Topshop's answer is to overhaul the fit technology behind cult names like Jamie and Joni rather than bolt on bigger sizes as an afterthought.
What Sizes Are Included in the AW26 Drop?
The core collection, covering Barrel, Cinch, Ember, Orson, Joni, Jamie and vintage fits, now runs from a 24-inch waist up to 40, roughly a UK 4 to 6 at the smallest end and a UK 22 to 24 at the largest, with leg lengths from a 28-inch petite to a 34-inch tall.
It is a genuine departure for a brand built on the spray-on skinny jean. Jamie and Joni defined 2012 Topshop with tight, unforgiving denim, and swapping that for rigid dad jeans and barrel legs across this range rewrites what the brand thinks denim should do for a body.
The Zebra Co-Ord Leading the Comeback
The piece doing the most talking is the zebra co-ord, a denim jacket and jean set. It works best paired with a plain white tee or neutral knit and minimalist boots. It sits alongside a mocha shawl jacket and a side-split jean built for evening wear, turning a denim refresh into a head-to-toe seasonal wardrobe.
90s Cuts to Know: Barrel Legs, Bootcuts and the Dillan Dad Jean
The five new styles split into two camps. For a relaxed look, the Dillan Baggy Dad Jean, from £48, cinches at the back for volume without swamping the waist, and the Vintage Straight, from £50, is a mid-rise style designed to soften with wear.
For a sharper silhouette, the Harper and wrap-front Barrel, both from £55, hold shape through rigid denim and tailoring. The 90s Bootcut, from £48, sits close through the hip before flaring at the hem for movement without going full baggy.
Topshop Swaps Indigo for Earth Tones
The wash story pulls the range away from Topshop's usual indigo default. Mid Blue and Bleach draw on vintage samples for a classic stone-washed look, while new shades in cumin, oat and bright olive push the collection towards a grounded autumnal palette, best styled against knitwear and tan leather rather than flat, uniform blue.
The shift mirrors a wider high-street pivot away from block indigo denim this season, with several rival brands also leaning into rust, khaki and stone shades for AW26.
Model Search Winner Naima Quinn Fronts the Campaign
The campaign, titled 'Denim, Defined By You', pairs established face Devi Rae with Naima Quinn, winner of Topshop's model search with Premier Models.
Handing a street-cast newcomer top billing alongside an established face makes a real statement about who represents high-street fashion now. With the range launching online for AW26, combining 90s nostalgia with realistic sizing gives rivals like Good American, Mango and River Island a genuine run for their money.
