A jewellery advertisement circulating online on 4 November has left viewers struggling to identify the model's pose, with some questioning whether the image was digitally altered or generated using artificial intelligence.
The image, associated with Tyaani Jewellery, shows a model wearing a black outfit with a ring prominently displayed on her hand. The unusual camera angle and the positioning of her arm and torso have prompted conflicting interpretations of what viewers are seeing.
The photograph also appeared in a Reddit discussion titled 'Its been 2 days and I cannot figure this out', where users debated the model's anatomy and attempted to reconstruct the pose.

Viewers Struggle to Identify the Pose
The Reddit post asked: 'What body part is this supposed to be??? I am so confused! I asked all my friends and no one can get it!'
One commenter wrote: 'I have looked at this for 5 minutes straight and I still have no idea what's happening.' Another asked: 'Is that a booty, a back, a knee, a leg ? I can't freaking tell'. Some users believed the model was leaning sideways with one hand resting on her hip, while the photograph was taken from an unusually low angle.
'It's her back. She's leaning over to her left and placing her hand on her hip,' one commenter suggested. Others questioned how the visible parts of the model's body could fit together in that position.
AI Suspicions Emerge
Several commenters suggested that the photograph might have been generated or manipulated using artificial intelligence. Many cited the unusual angle and incomprehensible geometry and physics of the image for their reasoning.
One Reddit user wrote: 'its ai generated, looks somewhat like human body but it's nothing but slop'. Another claimed the same underlying image had appeared in advertisements for different rings, although that allegation has not been independently verified.
Other participants argued that the image could be explained through perspective rather than digital manipulation. One commenter described it as a low-angle shot of a model wearing a backless dress, with her arm bent and her hand resting on her hip.
'Yup. I see it now. It's a very weird angle for that pose. But since the focus is the ring, it makes sense,' another user responded.
Tyaani Jewellery's Advertising Background
Tyaani Jewellery is a fine jewellery brand founded by filmmaker Karan Johar. The company specialises in uncut diamond jewellery and has previously worked with actors and models on advertising campaigns.
Its 'Forces of Tyaani' campaign has featured performers including Kalki Koechlin, Shalini Pandey, and Zeenat Aman, with individual advertisements showcasing different styling and visual concepts.
The disputed ring photograph has circulated through social media posts, including discussions on X and Reddit, with users focusing primarily on the model's posture rather than the jewellery itself. The identity of the model, the original production method, and whether the photograph underwent AI-assisted editing remain unconfirmed.
No conclusive evidence establishing whether artificial intelligence was used to create or alter the image was available from the discussion, and Tyaani Jewellery has not responded to the allegations regarding their ad as of press time.
