Kyle Richards' daughter Alexia Umansky has revealed that she was 'taken advantage of' by a trusted friend during a trip seven years ago, sharing details of the painful experience on Special Forces: World's Toughest Test that she had kept from her family.
The 30-year-old real estate agent opened up during the 8 October episode of the Fox reality series, explaining that she had been unable to say no or fully comprehend what was happening. The disclosure also marked the first time her father, Mauricio Umansky, had heard about the experience.
Alexia Opens up About a Painful Experience
During questioning on the show, Alexia recalled being on a trip with friends when the incident happened. She said she had been drinking and was put to bed after consuming too much alcohol, only to wake up realising that something had happened.
'I didn't even have the power or consciousness to say no. I felt completely objectified,' she told the directing staff, describing the anger and pain she had carried since the experience. She also explained that it was among the hardest things she had ever gone through.

Alexia said she decided to move forward on the first anniversary of the incident, although the experience continued to affect her. Despite the years that had passed, discussing what happened remained difficult.
In a confessional, she revealed that her family had not known about the incident, explaining that she had not been ready to discuss it or face the conversations that might follow. 'I was taken advantage of. My family, to this day, does not know,' she said.
Alexia did not identify the person involved or provide further details about the incident. Instead, her account centred on how the experience had affected her and why she had struggled to speak about it.
Why Alexia Kept the Incident From Her Family
After the questioning session, Alexia returned to the bunkhouse and told her fellow contestants what she had disclosed, including Mauricio, who had not previously heard about it. She explained that a friend had taken advantage of her and described the incident as one of the most difficult experiences of her life.
Alexia said she had kept the experience from her family partly because she wanted to protect them from the pain of learning about it. She also acknowledged that she had not been ready to talk about what happened until then.
Mauricio responded by telling his daughter that he loved her, while other contestants offered words of encouragement and support. The conversation gave him an opportunity to respond to a deeply personal disclosure that Alexia had previously kept private.

Although Alexia said she had made progress since the incident, she acknowledged that it remained painful to discuss. Sharing the experience with her father and fellow contestants marked a significant change after years of keeping it to herself.
Alexia and Mauricio Take on Special Forces Together
The disclosure came as Alexia and Mauricio compete in the fifth season of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test, which challenges celebrity recruits with physically and mentally demanding tasks inspired by special forces selection. Rather than competing for public votes, participants are tested on their endurance, resilience and ability to handle pressure.
Before opening up about her experience, Alexia explained that competing alongside her father gave them time together away from the pressures surrounding their family. She described Mauricio as her best friend, while making clear she was also competing for herself.

Their appearance together comes after a turbulent period for the family, with Mauricio and Kyle announcing their separation in July 2023 after 27 years of marriage. The former couple also share daughters Alexia, Sophia and Portia, and their relationship has continued to attract public attention.
Alexia grew up in the spotlight through The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and later appeared alongside her family in Netflix's Buying Beverly Hills, which follows their real estate business. Her account on Special Forces offered a more personal glimpse into her life, revealing an experience she had kept private for years.
By sharing what happened, Alexia also gave Mauricio and her fellow contestants a chance to offer support. The conversation marked a significant moment in their time on the show, as she shared an experience her father had never known about.
