A celebrity wedding usually comes with glamorous venues, designer outfits and a guest list packed with famous names. For AnnaLynne McCord and Danny Cipriani, however, the biggest talking point is something rather different: their decision to ask guests to help cover the cost of their upcoming wedding.
The couple, who have an estimated combined fortune of around £6 million, have reportedly set up a Honeyfund page featuring contributions towards individual wedding expenses. From the marriage licence and reception drinks to flowers and the venue, the requests have sparked plenty of conversation online.
Meet 90210 Star AnnaLynne McCord
AnnaLynne McCord is an American actress, model, writer, director and producer who first made a name for herself on television. She gained attention for her role as Eden Lord on Nip/Tuck before becoming widely recognised as Naomi Clark in 90210. She has also appeared in Dallas, Lucifer and Days of Our Lives.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1987, McCord was raised in a deeply religious household and was home-schooled. She moved to Miami as a teenager to pursue modelling before heading to New York and eventually Los Angeles, where she began auditioning for acting roles. Her screen debut came in the 2002 horror film The Middle of Nowhere.
Beyond Hollywood, McCord has also become known for advocacy work. Her official website identifies her as president of Together1Heart, an organisation focused on tackling human trafficking and supporting survivors.
What We Know About Danny Cipriani
Danny Cipriani is an English former professional rugby union player who played mainly at fly-half. He represented England 16 times and enjoyed a career spanning clubs including Wasps, Melbourne Rebels, Sale Sharks, Gloucester and Bath. He officially retired from professional rugby in 2024.
Cipriani was also a high-profile figure away from the pitch, with his sporting career and personal life frequently attracting media attention. According to reports, he earned around £4 million during his rugby career.
From Raya Match to Wedding Plans
The pair first met on dating app Raya in 2016 and had an on-and-off relationship for roughly four years before splitting in 2020. After several years apart, they rekindled their romance in 2024 following Cipriani's separation from his wife, Victoria Rose, in late 2023.
Their second chance at love moved quickly. Cipriani proposed to McCord on Christmas Day 2025 at her Los Angeles home, presenting her with a 15-carat diamond ring. Their loved ones watched the proposal via Zoom.
The couple later announced their engagement in April 2026 and are due to marry in Los Angeles on 22 October.
Why Is Their Wedding Fund Causing a Stir?
The Honeyfund page is what has really put the couple's wedding plans under the spotlight. Guests can reportedly contribute towards specific costs, including approximately £75 for the marriage licence, £95 for reception music, £150 for drinks, £187 for catering and £225 for photography.

There are also larger requests, including around £375 for the rehearsal dinner and £449 each towards the wedding cake, floral arrangements and venue construction. The pound figures are approximate conversions based on a recent GBP-USD rate.
The public guestbook has attracted critical comments, with some people questioning why a couple described in reports as wealthy would ask their wedding guests to fund individual expenses.
