The reality star said the diamond ring originally retailed for AUD$2,800, approximately £2,100, through Australian jeweller Simon Curwood. While she admitted she was not expecting to receive the full retail value, she invited interested buyers to get in touch directly.
'It's a beautiful ring. It looks beautiful on the finger, but I don't need it. So if anyone wants to buy it, let me know, guys,' she said.
Rather than simply cashing in on the keepsake, Bec also revealed that part of the money raised from the sale will be donated to the Animal Welfare League, adding a charitable purpose to what she described as an important personal milestone.
