Bella Hadid has shared another emotional update about her health, revealing that she recently slept for 11 hours during a flare-up but still did not feel better. The model said she has followed advice from every doctor she has seen, yet she continues to struggle with her symptoms. Her latest Instagram Stories gave fans a raw look at the reality of living with a chronic illness.
Hadid has been open for years about her battle with Lyme disease and other long-term health conditions. She often uses social media to show both the good and bad days of her recovery. This time, she explained that the physical and mental exhaustion can be overwhelming even after getting plenty of rest.
Her posts quickly drew support from followers who also live with invisible illnesses. Many thanked her for speaking honestly about challenges that are often misunderstood. Others said her words made them feel less alone in their own health journeys.
Bella Hadid Says Even 11 Hours of Sleep Was Not Enough
In one Instagram Story, Hadid shared a tearful selfie while describing how difficult her latest flare-up had been. She revealed that she had slept for 11 hours and continued taking naps throughout the day. Despite all that rest, she said nothing had improved.

'I've been able to shake off this flare up. Slept 11 hours. Again... Nap hours. Day. Took every protocol from any and every doctor I've seen. Still nothing helping. IFYKYK', she wrote. The post showed just how frustrating her health battle has become.
Hadid also described how difficult it was to complete simple daily tasks. She said she had not drunk water or eaten that day and barely had enough energy to walk around her home. She added that taking a shower without fainting felt like a major accomplishment and joked that she deserved 'a cookie or something'.
Model Describes the Reality of Living with Chronic Illness
In another Story, Hadid opened up about the emotional side of living with an invisible illness. She said it is hard to explain the pain, fatigue, anxiety, brain fog and exhaustion that come with chronic health problems. According to Hadid, many people never fully understand what patients experience every day.
