Brooks Nader is no stranger to a statement look, regularly turning heads in bold red-carpet outfits and eye-catching swimwear. Recently, for her latest appearance, she brought a dose of 1990s Hollywood glamour to the red carpet.
The model and actress, born 7 February 1997 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, attended Fox's Baywatch panel at MIPCOM in Cannes on 13 October, wearing a black leather outfit inspired by Pamela Anderson's 1996 film Barb Wire.
Nader wore a plunging black leather corset with matching leggings, knee-high boots, and opera-length gloves. She then completed the look with voluminous blonde hair and pushed-up sunglasses, reflecting Anderson's bounty-hunter style in the movie.
The ensemble omitted one distinctive detail from Anderson's costume: her barbed-wire bicep tattoo. This look also marked a departure from the red outfits Nader has recently worn while promoting her new television role.

Red Swimsuit Tribute
Nader has previously worn Baywatch's signature red swimwear. At the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit runway show during Miami Swim Week in May, she modelled a high-cut red one-piece with 'SPORTS' across the chest and a thick white belt at the waist.
The swimsuit is inspired by the uniform Pamela Anderson wore as C.J. Parker in the original series. Her design featured a scoop neckline, broad shoulder straps, and a high-cut leg.
This created a silhouette that became one of the show's most recognisable visual signatures. The team tailored each red uniform to individual cast members, with variations in neckline, straps, and leg openings.

Anderson's red Baywatch swimsuit has influenced swimwear for decades. In 2023, Anderson revisited the style in a collection with Frankies Bikinis. The collection featured a red one-piece with a scoop neck and high-cut legs. The updated version used thinner straps but retained the key elements of her original Baywatch costume.
The swimsuit was the clearest visual link to the TV series, while the black leather outfit in Cannes referenced Anderson's movie career. Her other runway looks included a black one-piece with a thong back, paired with leather fingerless gloves, black sunglasses, and a gold two-piece bikini. She also modelled high-waisted navy bikini bottoms with a red-and-white striped top.
Nader's Baywatch Role
Nader joins the new Baywatch as Selene, captain of the Zuma Beach lifeguards. Selene, though highly skilled, clashes with fellow captain Hobie Buchannon – played by Stephen Amell – due to their differing approaches toward rescue work.
The reboot introduces a new generation of lifeguards while keeping the beach rescues, relationships, and iconic red uniforms of the original series. The cast includes Shay Mitchell as Trina, Hassie Harrison as Nat, Noah Beck as Luke, Thaddeus LaGrone as Brad, and Livvy Dunne as Grace.

Several cast members from the original Baywatch will also appear in the reboot. David Chokachi will reprise his role as Cody Madison, while Erika Eleniak will make a guest appearance as Shauni McClain.
Nader has previously talked about how the role influenced her personal style. In a June 2026 interview, she stated that the project convinced her to stop wearing string bikinis, saying she is '100% into one-pieces.'
The Baywatch reboot is scheduled to premiere on Fox in January 2027 in the US. Sky and its streaming service NOW hold the exclusive UK and Ireland broadcast rights. An exact premiere date has not yet been announced.
