The account also said those looks were aimed at a specific community. It then suggested that Goulding herself preferred the newer feminine outfits, adding that she had been looking 'lovely lately'.
The post was later deleted, according to Just Jared's report on the exchange. The outlet reported that the account had tagged Goulding directly before she responded.
Goulding Responds Directly
Goulding replied to the fan account with a short message rejecting the comment. 'Girl, no thank you. We don't tolerate any anti LGBTQ+ in the fandom. I know you are better than this,' she wrote.
Her response made clear that she did not view the message as acceptable support from a fan. Goulding specifically referred to anti-LGBTQ+ views and said they were not tolerated within her fandom.
