Celebrity red carpets often connect fans and stars through gifts, photos, and brief interactions. However, an encounter involving Jenna Ortega became uncomfortable when a man made a crude comment about a flower offered to her.
Footage circulating on social media shows the man warning Ortega against accepting the flower, prompting a visible reaction of discomfort from the Wednesday star. Currently, one post has received about 500,000 views from concerned fans.

'He Masturbated on This Flower'
The man began by joking, 'Today is not Wednesday. It's Saturday'. As a fan offered Ortega a flower, he then shouted, 'Don't take the flower. He masturbated on this flower'.
He continued warning the actress, saying, 'Don't take his flower. It's very dangerous,' and subsequently added, 'I save your life, Jenna. I love you'. He further claimed, 'He's doing a terrible thing with the flowers'.
The man's comments disrupted an otherwise positive fan interaction and created an awkward public moment. Ortega appeared visibly uncomfortable, while some in the crowd also reacted to the remarks.

'Men Are Disgusting'
The footage continued to circulate on X, drawing widespread criticism. Some viewers expressed disgust at the man's remarks and sympathy for Ortega, while others noted that such behaviour could undermine genuine interactions between celebrities and fans.
'The look of disgust in her face when he told her someone masturbated on the flower. Men are disgusting,' one user wrote. Another commented, 'That's so terrible. I can see Jenna get embarrassed by the situation'.
A third user criticised the man's behaviour, writing, 'Not all of us are like this disgusting creature of a 'man'. Poor Jenna and I feel bad for the people wanting autographs or pictures because shit like this ruins it for them, because security around her understandably tightens, and you know it has to make her reluctant to engage'.
However, the allegation regarding the flower remains unverified, and the remarks alone do not prove any wrongdoing by the fan who offered it. Many believe the fan simply intended to offer Ortega a gift.
the man who said that was lying. I read that he said something like this to a lot of celebrities yesterday. The boy with the flower is innocent,I saw him with my own eyes and he was just a normal fan like all of us! https://t.co/VhtpvGHVlb

Inside Jenna's Look
Beyond the uncomfortable exchange, Ortega's appearance at the Rome Film Festival included a notable fashion moment. She wore a Roberto Cavalli Spring/Summer 2027 gown for the evening screening of Klara and the Sun, featuring a flowing silhouette and an abstract floral print.
The floor-length dress combined ivory and champagne tones with green, yellow, and metallic gold accents. Fine shoulder straps, a plunging neckline, and an open back with crossed detailing gave the gown a lingerie-inspired silhouette, while its flowing skirt extended into a train. The painterly print added colour and texture to the otherwise pale design.

Designed under creative director Fausto Puglisi, the look is part of Roberto Cavalli's Spring/Summer 2027 collection, which draws on the fashion house's archive of expressive prints and glamorous silhouettes.
Ortega completed the outfit with Dolce & Gabbana platform sandals and Damiani jewellery. Her voluminous dark waves, side-swept fringe, and black cat-eye eyeliner further complemented the gown's retro-inspired glamour.
The appearance was part of Ortega's promotion for Klara and the Sun, directed by Taika Waititi and adapted from Kazuo Ishiguro's novel. She attended the Rome Film Festival on 17 October to promote the film.
