Kylie, 29, made her surprise debut at the 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Los Angeles on Sunday, 18 October, complete with white feathered wings and the returning Fantasy Bra. The Jacob & Co. creation is valued at a record-breaking $50 million, making it the most expensive Fantasy Bra in the brand's history.
The Jenner family plot twist wasn't lost on fans. Kendall, 30, is the actual runway model of the sisters and previously walked the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show three times, in 2015, 2016, and 2018. She never wore the Fantasy Bra. Kylie got it on night one. Fans now have ammunition to poke fun at the famous siblings.

'This feels like a slap to the face,' one Reddit user wrote, questioning why Kylie landed the coveted runway moment instead of her model sister.
Others thought that was exactly the point. 'No one would've cared if it were Kendall, it would've just been Kendall doing her job,' one commenter argued, suggesting Kylie's unexpected casting guaranteed more attention.
Another agreed: 'You're missing the point of the Fantasy Bra. They were going for a pop culture moment, and Kendall wouldn't have had the same impact because modelling is literally what she does.'
On Four Nine's Facebook page, the jokes and speculation were practically being mass produced. 'Probably because Kylie could afford it if a diamond fell off or the bra broke she could replace it,' one user joked, while another simply wrote: 'Kendall actually worked for it.'
Kylie Jenner Didn't Get Just Any Fantasy Bra
If Kylie was going to make an entrance, Victoria's Secret certainly didn't send her down the runway quietly. Created with Jacob & Co., the 2026 Fantasy Bra contains 4,410 natural diamonds totalling 1,373.39 carats. At its centre sits a 75.54-carat radiant-cut Fancy Vivid yellow diamond, reportedly worth around $22 million (£16.5 million) by itself.
Fifteen artisans spent more than 1,000 hours constructing the piece, which weighs nearly four pounds. It also marks the Fantasy Bra's first runway appearance since Elsa Hosk wore the $1 million (£746,000) Atelier Swarovski version in 2018.
At $50 million, Kylie's bra even knocked Gisele Bündchen's famous $15 million Red Hot Fantasy Bra from 2000 off the top of the price list. Not bad for a first day at work.
Sorry Internet, Kendall Doesn't Seem Mad
As entertaining as an imaginary Kardashian-Jenner feud over an expensive bra might be, there isn't much evidence that Kendall is sharpening her stilettos backstage.
Kendall reportedly gave Kylie runway advice before the show and thought her younger sister did a great job. However, she wasn't in attendance, while Kris Jenner and Kylie's boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, watched from the audience.
Kendall's absence isn't necessarily mysterious, either. One Redditor pointed out that the model is currently working with Italian lingerie brand Intimissimi, which announced her as its global ambassador earlier this year.
Still, fans couldn't resist imagining how the Fantasy Bra conversation might eventually play out on The Kardashians. 'And the plot thickens!!!!' one Facebook user joked, while another predicted: 'We are going to know till next season.'
Kendall may have the longer Victoria's Secret résumé, but Kylie has now modelled the biggest piece of runway jewellery. Fortunately, $50 million in diamonds appears to be causing far more sibling rivalry among fans than between the sisters themselves.
