'SaWaDiKa' Viral Cover Art
Posted on her Instagram, the cover art takes a very close-up approach, focusing on a person's crotch dressed in what looks like red Muay Thai boxing shorts. The waistband reads 'Lisa Worldwide', while 'SaWaDiKa' appears across the shorts in silver sequins.
The shorts are paired with a glossy red high-cut top, a black jacket, silver rings and striking red-and-chrome nails. It is flashy, cheeky and very much designed to grab attention.
And it certainly worked.
'SaWaDiKa' is the lead single from PRESS PLAY, which arrives after weeks of cryptic teasers and a global campaign built around the word 'Hello' in different languages. Red billboards displaying the English word 'Hello' in capital letters alongside its Thai equivalent appeared in cities including Bangkok before Lisa officially revealed what the campaign was about.
The title itself refers to 'sawatdee ka', the familiar Thai greeting, making the upcoming release another clear nod to Lisa's heritage.
Fans Are Obsessed: 'Can't Wait'
For plenty of fans, the unusual cover art appears to have landed exactly as intended.
Social media was quickly filled with excited reactions and playful memes, with some fans jokingly acting as though the image had left them completely overwhelmed. Others were already counting down to the release.
'So excited I can't wait anymoreeee,' one fan wrote. Another simply called the artwork 'stunning'.
But as with pretty much every major pop star reveal, not everyone was sold.
Some fans questioned whether the provocative concept would work, with one bluntly predicting: 'This will tank so bad.' Another mocked the visual with: 'Another I'm rich, hot, famous and sexy sh**.'
Then there was the fan who seemed genuinely torn, writing: '[I love you] Lisa but what is this?'

Lisa and Her Risqué Fashion Era
The provocative artwork also feels very much in line with Lisa's fashion history. Whether she is performing on stage or appearing in a music video, she has rarely shied away from eye-catching, body-conscious and statement-making looks.
Her solo debut LALISA was packed with dramatic styling, from glamorous designer pieces to Thai-inspired outfits that highlighted her heritage. Vogue previously noted how the music video combined Lisa's individuality and Thai identity with high-fashion looks from designers including Jean Paul Gaultier and Vivienne Westwood.
That approach continued during her solo Coachella performances in 2025. Lisa wore several custom looks created for the shows, including a reptilian-inspired bodysuit by Asher Levine. A second costume took a softer direction, featuring glowing details inspired by bioluminescent nature.
