Some people are born into fame. Others step into it. Moses Martin is doing both, now with a Burberry campaign to his name.
The 20-year-old son of Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has officially made his modelling debut in Burberry's latest campaign, 'Escape to the Countryside'. Marking his first major fashion moment, Moses Martin joins models Edie Campbell, Nora Attal, and Sang Woo Kim in a distinctly British adventure. Defined by winding roads, open fields, and a series of huggable farm animals, the new Burberry campaign is effectively inviting us to swap city lights for starlight.
Let Wanderlust Lead the Way
Set against the backdrop of the countryside, the campaign captures a group of friends embarking on a road trip, complete with scenic detours wrapped in the brand's signature plaid. Channelling the charm of nostalgia and aspiration, the clip serves as an endearing nod to Burberry's heritage of exploring the great outdoors in ensembles that embody both fashion and function.
Dressed in a mix of layered staples, Moses looked like he was born to strike a pose in the brand's aesthetic. From classic House Check patterns to relaxed summer essentials, the styling lived up to the brand's spirit of adventure.
As the video progressed with the group of friends on the road, the trunk of the car is opened to reveal a collection of classic tartan luggage. The shot featured a wide selection of bags, including Burberry Holdalls and backpacks that would tempt any avid traveller to add them to cart.
Legacy of Fame: Moses as a Model and Musician
Adding a pleasant surprise into the mix, the campaign is not just a visual introduction. It also carries a personal touch courtesy of the youngest son of Paltrow and Martin. The campaign video is soundtracked by Moses' band, People I've Met, featuring their song 'For Hire'. The inclusion integrates another dimension to his debut, spotlighting him as both a new face and a new sound in the entertainment industry.
Flowing with a beat that was made for long drives to anywhere, 'For Hire' sounds like the highway anthem you'd blast from the speakers while rolling the car windows down.
Moses' entry into the fashion space also places him alongside his older sister, Apple Martin, who has already made her name known in the fashion industry. The 22-year-old has fronted campaigns for brands such as Chloé and GapStudio, as well as securing a major role with Self-Portrait in 2025. With famous parents and two kids making a name for themselves in the luxury industry, it's safe to say that these apples didn't fall far from the tree.
In essence, Burberry's 'Escape to the Countryside' campaign tells a tale of freedom, exploration, and the importance of packing your (luxury) bags and hitting the road. For Moses Martin, it also marks the beginning of a new artistic chapter in more ways than one. Coming from a family that consistently makes it big in music, acting, entrepreneurship, and modelling, there seems to be no escaping the fame.
