Ethan Klein's alleged cheating scandal has taken a bizarre Halloween twist, with an old photo of the YouTuber, his wife Hila Klein and a woman linked to the controversy sending social media into full detective mode. The internet is particularly fixated on the possibility that Hila and Ethan's rumoured affair partner dressed as Thing 1 and Thing 2 from Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat.
The image has resurfaced following Hila's public allegations of infidelity against her husband. Online users have speculated that Tamara Joseph, an animator associated with the H3 Podcast, was the person involved in the alleged affair and that she wore one of the matching outfits alongside Hila. However, Joseph's involvement has not been confirmed.

Adding another layer to the bizarre coincidence, a netizen pointed out that members of the H3 Podcast team could be heard joking that Thing 1 and Thing 2 were Dr. Seuss's mistresses, quipping that his wife died by suicide because of his infidelity. The two characters, Thing 1 and Thing 2, are mischievous, blue-haired troublemakers who appear in Dr. Seuss's 1957 children's book The Cat in the Hat. Known for causing chaos after arriving at the children's home, the duo are virtually inseparable, making them a recognisable pair in pop culture. Their matching red outfits, complete with circular labels identifying them as Thing 1 and Thing 2, have become a popular choice for Halloween costumes.
Who Is Tamara Joseph, The Woman Caught In The Rumours?
Joseph, who is also known online as Undead Mummy, is an animator and video creator associated with the H3 Podcast. Her creative work includes experimental animation, claymation and stop-motion projects, video editing, and puppet-making.
She reportedly joined the podcast's production team in 2025, initially as an intern, and became known among viewers for her animation contributions. Hila has also shown support for Joseph's art, leaving positive comments on her Instagram posts.
Hila's past interactions with Joseph have drawn renewed attention as netizens revisit her supportive comments on the artist's Instagram posts. Amid the allegations surrounding Ethan, some online users have expressed sympathy for Hila, pointing to the apparent hurt of being betrayed by both a husband and someone whose creative work she once encouraged.
Hila Klein's Statement
The costume photo is just one part of a much bigger story. On 23 October, Hila addressed the state of her marriage in an Instagram statement alleging that Ethan had been unfaithful and that she had spent months dealing with lies.
Hila said she had sensed that something was wrong and had tried to raise her concerns with her husband. According to her account, she eventually confronted him about the situation and alleged that he admitted to an affair lasting more than six months.
She also described the emotional impact of the alleged betrayal, explaining that the experience had shaken the trust built over their roughly 20-year relationship. Hila said her immediate priority was caring for herself and their children while navigating the separation and heartbreak.
The production team has announced on Instagram that its members will no longer work with Ethan, raising questions about the programme's future. The statement also signals their support for Hila as the fallout from the alleged betrayal continues to unfold.
Ethan and Hila's relationship has long been intertwined with their online careers, with their podcast offering fans a glimpse into their lives. Following the allegations, Ethan issued a statement asking the public to respect his family's privacy, without directly confirming or denying the claims.
What comes next after this? We are not sure, but this is turning into a scarier Halloween plot twist than anyone could have expected. With old photos resurfacing, netizens connecting the dots and the drama surrounding Ethan and Hila continuing to unfold, the internet certainly has plenty to talk about.
