When Rob Kardashian turned up to his sister Khloé's 42nd birthday party in basketball shorts, trainers, and a plain black tee, fans did not see a fashion miss. Khloé shared the celebration on Instagram with the caption 'How blessed am I? Missing a few but they're always with me,' alongside a carousel of family photos that included Kris Jenner, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, and Rob beaming alongside his nine-year-old daughter Dream. While it was supposed to be Khloé's day, most of the comments were about her brother's rare appearance.

Despite the event's theme being 'Champagne, Cavalli, and Caviar', Rob still showed up in a navy LA cap, a black Nike Dri-FIT T-shirt, and blue-and-white basketball shorts. The birthday girl wore a burnt-orange Roberto Cavalli archive silk slip dress from the label's Spring/Summer 2004 collection, complete with cutout detailing, a fitted silhouette, and a dramatic ruffled hem. Pink balloons, candles and at least three birthday cakes filled the room behind her.
Fans Flood the Comments With Love for Rob
In one photo, Rob is bent forward with Dream wrapped in his arms, both of them mid-giggle. It is a small, unpolished moment, and one fans latched onto instantly. Dream, who Rob shares with Blac Chyna, rarely appears in Kardashian family posts either, which made the pairing feel like a double rarity.
One follower wrote simply that Rob looked happy again, a comment that picked up over 2,000 likes on its own. Another commented just his name with a heart-eyed emoji. Even Kim Kardashian showed up in the replies to say how fun it was celebrating her sister. He has previously told Khloé on her Wonder Land podcast that being on camera never sat right with him.
