Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun are reportedly taking their relationship to a more serious level, with the couple said to be discussing the possibility of having children together. This has also reportedly prompted Sweeney to consider converting to Judaism, the faith practised by Braun.
The latest claims come after more than a year of romance rumours, public appearances and increasingly affectionate moments between the Euphoria star and music executive. While neither has publicly confirmed plans to marry or start a family, recent reports suggest their relationship has moved well beyond its early casual stage.
Sweeney Reportedly Meets Rabbis
According to Page Six, Sweeney has already met with two rabbis as she considers converting to Judaism. The report says the actress and Braun are talking about starting a family, with a source saying: 'The couple is discussing having their own family and Scooter feels strongly on the subject.'
The couple were also recently spotted attending Rosh Hashanah services together at Temple Sholom in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Sweeney's reported interest in conversion would be a significant commitment. The publication said the process can take between one and four years, involving rigorous study and a sponsoring rabbi.
The report comes amid claims that Braun wants to marry Sweeney, with an earlier source saying: 'He is trying very hard to marry her.' It follows reports that Braun could propose within six months.
How Serious Is Their Relationship?
People reported in September that the couple are now 'very serious', marking a major change from how their relationship was initially described. The pair first connected in Venice in June 2025 around Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding before reports of casual dating emerged that September.
According to a source, Sweeney was not initially looking for another relationship after ending her engagement to Jonathan Davino. 'She really wanted to simplify her life, not complicate it,' the source said, explaining that her original plans were to work, travel and spend time with loved ones.
The relationship nevertheless developed. Another source said they 'started as friends, and it kind of just happened', while describing the pair as having become 'really happy'. By December 2025, it was reported that they were in a committed relationship and that things were 'getting serious'.
More recently, the couple's relationship has reportedly become even deeper. An insider said: 'Sydney's spending time with his kids and that's a big deal.' Braun shares three children with his former wife, Yael Cohen.

High-Profile Romance Under Scrutiny
The pair's growing romance comes as Sweeney continues to face criticism over her recent advertising work. In September, her provocative campaign for sports betting platform Novig drew backlash from female athletes and others who argued that the sexualised imagery undermined women's sport.
Braun, meanwhile, remains associated with his highly publicised 2019 dispute with Taylor Swift. His Ithaca Holdings acquired Big Machine Label Group, giving the company control of the masters to Swift's first six albums. Swift publicly criticised the deal and accused Braun of 'incessant, manipulative bullying', while Braun later described the episode as a learning experience.
That history continues to shape public discussion around Braun, even as he moves forward professionally and personally.
