Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's highly anticipated wedding has long been a major talking point online, and a recent television interview has only added fresh fuel to the conversation. A celebrity memorabilia collector claimed he had been invited to the couple's wedding events, and it didn't take long for those remarks to spread across social media.

The alleged guest said he had received a physical invitation and hinted at unusual details, including a possible 'decoy' setup and separate locations for different parts of the celebration.

However, neither Swift nor Kelce has confirmed any of the claims.

Alleged Guest Hints at Secret Wedding Details

Anthony Jabin was being interviewed about his celebrity memorabilia collection on TMZ Live. Hosts Harvey Levin and Charles Latibeaudiere then casually asked whether he was invited to Swift and Kelce's wedding. Without hesitation, Jabin responded: 'I'm gonna be there. I got the invite.'

According to Jabin, he received a physical invitation to both the wedding ceremony and the reception. Both of the hosts quickly pressed him for details, especially when he hinted there were 'surprises' involved and even suggested there could be a 'decoy' element to the plans.

When asked what the invitation actually said, Jabin declined to provide specifics, stating: 'I'm not allowed to disclose it, but it's not gonna be what everybody thinks... Well, there's a decoy. They've got something. They don't want everybody to really know where it is.'

Recent reports have pointed to Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York City as a speculated venue for the wedding. The date is reportedly expected to be 3 July.

Jabin neither confirmed nor denied the location. He did, however, say that the wedding ceremony and reception would take place on the same day but at different venues.

Jabin reportedly met Swift at the 2024 Super Bowl, where Kelce was playing. Following the interview, TMZ confirmed that he is a plus-one of a guest who was invited to the wedding.

Swift & Kelce: The Relationship Timeline

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce didn't exactly sneak into the public eye. Their relationship kind of exploded into it.

It all started in mid-2023 when Kelce revealed on his podcast that he'd tried (and failed) to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his number during her Eras Tour stop at Arrowhead Stadium. What sounded like a fun, harmless story soon turned into something much bigger.

By September 2023, things had clearly shifted gears. Swift showed up at a Kansas City Chiefs game, sitting with Kelce's family, and just like that, the rumours were basically confirmed without anyone needing an official statement.

From there, it became a pattern. She was seen cheering at NFL games, while Kelce was also spotted attending several of Swift's Eras Tour shows.

Throughout late 2023 and 2024, the couple leaned into a more public relationship, with appearances that consistently went viral and were heavily covered by outlets.

In August 2025, the couple confirmed their engagement in a joint Instagram post. The carousel featured images of them in a floral setting, a close-up of Swift's diamond ring, and a moment capturing Kelce as he proposed.

Why the Couple Dominates Headlines

Part of the fascination comes down to scale.

Taylor Swift isn't just a pop star. She's one of the biggest global artists of her generation, with record-breaking tours and streaming numbers. Travis Kelce, meanwhile, is one of the NFL's most recognisable players, with multiple Super Bowl wins and a strong media presence of his own.

Put together, they've become a cultural crossover moment. Music meets sport. Celebrity meets stadium spotlight.

Every small development — real or rumoured — gets amplified instantly across social media, fan communities, and entertainment news cycles.
