Teyana Taylor knows how to make an entrance, and her latest Calvin Klein campaign certainly puts her incredible physique front and centre. The singer and actress stars in the brand's latest underwear campaign, showing off her sharply defined abs while breaking into a high-energy dance routine.
But while Taylor appears confident and completely in control of her body, some online users couldn't quite figure it out. Instead of praising the sultry campaign, several fans took aim at the choreography and overall vibe, with some saying the performance felt awkward, forced or simply failed to deliver the sex appeal they expected.
Teyana Taylor for Calvin Klein
Taylor stars in Calvin Klein's Fall 2026 underwear campaign, which spotlights the brand's Perfectly Fit collection. The range includes the Perfectly Fit Custom Lift Demi Bra, Perfectly Fit Custom Lift Wirefree Triangle Bra and Perfectly Fit Lace Push Up Plunge Bra, with the campaign focusing on movement, comfort and different forms of support.
In the advert, Taylor starts off in an empty conference room before suddenly breaking into a dance routine inspired by Flashdance. Wearing Calvin Klein underwear with white ankle socks and penny loafers, she confidently moves around the room, giving viewers a close-up look at her seriously defined abs.
The video then switches to a bedroom setting, where Taylor continues dancing and posing for the camera. The campaign was directed by Gordon von Steiner, while Taylor has spoken about enjoying the freedom of moving in the underwear.
The collaboration also carries a nostalgic touch for Taylor. She has previously recalled growing up in New York and seeing Calvin Klein advertisements around the city, making her appearance in one of the brand's campaigns particularly meaningful.
Ad Sparks Brutal Reactions
And then came the comments. Some viewers simply could not get into the advert. 'Nah I can't stop laughing,' one person wrote, adding that there was 'nothing sexy about this one'.
Another fan questioned the effort behind Taylor's performance, writing: 'Why is she trying so hard, she's effortlessly sexy. Why not just... flow!' Someone else admitted they were still trying to figure out how they felt about the way Taylor was moving, saying that 'something is throwing me off a lil'.
The criticism did not stop there.
Another commenter said Taylor's physique did not make the advert appealing to them. A different user bluntly asked: 'Couldn't they find anyone else, literally anyone else.' One particularly amused commenter even joked that the brand was 'tryna force us on her'.
No matter how many butt implants, body enhancements, ab injections, the attraction just isn't there.

Her face always looks like it's in a permanent state of anger and fury, ready to beat the shit out of anyone who looks at her in the wrong way.
Taylor's Red-Carpet Abs Moments
Whatever viewers thought of the Calvin Klein campaign, Taylor has never been shy about showing off her physique on the red carpet. Her fashion history is packed with looks that put her toned midriff and athletic build firmly on display.
At the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, she wore a SKIMS bralette with low-rise Givenchy trousers, creating a look that left her midriff fully visible.
She brought the same confidence to the 2025 London premiere of One Battle After Another, wearing a grey Oude Waag ensemble with a black leather bralette underneath. The combination of the long coat, skirt and exposed midriff gave the otherwise polished look a striking edge.
Taylor has also experimented with dramatic, body-conscious fashion at the Met Gala, including her floral The Blonds gown in 2024 and her cut-out Thom Browne look in 2023.
So, while her latest Calvin Klein appearance may not have landed with everyone, showing off her physique is hardly new territory for Taylor. She has repeatedly made her abs part of her fashion moments—and this time, the internet simply had plenty to say about it.
