Tyler Perry is facing renewed scrutiny after a lawyer representing two men who have accused the Hollywood producer of sexual misconduct alleged that there may be other men with similar claims.

The fresh allegation comes from attorney Jonathan J. Delshad, who represents individuals involved in separate legal actions against Perry. According to court-related claims reported by RadarOnline, Delshad has argued that Perry may have previously engaged in alleged misconduct involving other people beyond the two men currently linked to the high-profile lawsuits.

Perry has strongly denied the allegations against him. His legal representatives have described the claims as false, financially motivated and without merit.

Lawyer Raises Prospect of Additional Alleged Victims

Delshad's claims emerged as part of arguments concerning Lionsgate Films, which has been named as a co-defendant in litigation connected to the allegations.

The attorney reportedly argued that Lionsgate should not be removed from the case, maintaining that the company should have been aware of alleged past misconduct involving Perry. He further claimed there was evidence suggesting Perry had previously sexually harassed or assaulted others.

These remain allegations made by an attorney representing Perry's accusers and have not been established as fact by a court.

The legal dispute has nevertheless intensified attention around Perry, one of the most influential figures in the American entertainment industry. The filmmaker, actor and producer built a vast media empire through film, television and theatre, becoming best known to mainstream audiences for creating and portraying the character Madea.

Tyler Perry Faces Two Major Lawsuits

The latest claims come as Perry fights separate lawsuits brought by model Mario Rodriguez and actor Derek Dixon.

Rodriguez is reportedly seeking $77 million in a sexual battery lawsuit, while Dixon has filed a separate $260 million claim. Dixon has accused Perry of using his powerful position in the entertainment industry to create what his lawsuit describes as a coercive and sexually exploitative dynamic.

According to reports surrounding the case, Dixon's allegations are connected in part to his work on the television drama The Oval, a series created by Perry.

Together, the two lawsuits seek $337 million in damages. That figure is calculated by adding the reported $77 million claim to the separate $260 million lawsuit. The amount being sought does not mean that damages have been awarded or that the allegations have been proven.

The legal actions have placed growing pressure on Perry's public reputation, particularly because of his extraordinary influence as a producer, studio owner and creator with significant control over major entertainment projects.

Perry's Lawyers Strongly Deny the Claims

Perry has firmly rejected the allegations.

His legal team has characterised Rodriguez's case as being built on falsehoods, misrepresentations and claims they say have no legal or factual basis. Attorney Matthew Boyd has also publicly dismissed Dixon's lawsuit as an attempted financial shakedown.

Boyd has insisted that Perry will not be pressured by what he described as fabricated harassment claims and expressed confidence that the case would fail.

Those denials are an important part of the continuing legal dispute, which presents sharply different accounts from Perry's accusers and his representatives.

At this stage, the lawsuits remain contested, and the allegations should not be treated as findings of guilt.

Hollywood Power Dynamics Under Fresh Scrutiny

Beyond the individual claims, the cases are also raising broader questions about power in Hollywood.

The entertainment industry has long faced criticism over unequal relationships between established decision-makers and aspiring actors hoping for career opportunities. In this case, the allegations are particularly sensitive because Perry is not simply a performer but also a hugely successful producer and creator with substantial influence over casting, employment and access to projects.

That does not establish wrongdoing. However, it helps explain why the lawsuits have attracted such intense public attention.

The involvement of Lionsgate adds another layer to the dispute. Delshad's argument appears to centre on whether a major entertainment company could bear responsibility if it knew, or should have known, about alleged misconduct involving a powerful professional partner.

Whether that argument succeeds will depend on the legal evidence and decisions made in court.

Tyler Perry's Public Image Faces Growing Pressure

For years, Perry has cultivated a reputation as one of Hollywood's most successful self-made figures. His rise from difficult beginnings to billionaire entertainment mogul has been widely celebrated, while his films and television programmes have built a loyal international audience.

The current lawsuits have therefore created a stark contrast with the public image attached to his career.

Reports have also drawn attention to Perry's high-profile friendships and connections with major figures in entertainment, politics and public life. However, there is no basis to suggest that Perry's friends or associates are involved in the allegations merely because of their relationship with him.

For now, the central issue remains the legal battle itself.

Perry continues to deny wrongdoing, while lawyers representing his accusers are pressing ahead with serious claims and raising the possibility that other men may also have allegations.

Until the courts determine the facts, the case remains a deeply contested dispute involving accusations, denials and potentially significant consequences for one of Hollywood's most powerful entertainment figures.
