An Australian man accused of poisoning and sexually abusing women for years allegedly had 2.5 million files related to the suspected abuse. Police revealed that the material was stored across 120 electronic storage devices.

Christopher Ridings, 39, faces 210 charges following an investigation into alleged domestic violence and sexual abuse involving three women aged between 29 and 31. Investigators examined electronic devices seized from his home in Tumbi Umbi, north of Sydney, during a domestic violence investigation in December 2025.

Police subsequently uncovered the alleged recordings, which form part of a wider investigation into suspected offences spanning seven years. Ridings was arrested on 12 October 2026 at Macquarie Correctional Centre in Wellington, where he was already being held on unrelated matters.

The 2.5 Million Files

Among the charges against Ridings are 109 counts of intentionally recording an intimate image without consent and 57 counts of being an accessory to sexual intercourse without consent.

He has also been charged with 12 counts of aggravated sexual assault and 10 counts of sexual intercourse without consent. Further allegations include detaining a person with the intention of sexually assaulting her, assault occasioning bodily harm, stalking and intimidation.

Court documents reportedly allege that on 10 December 2025, Ridings detained one of the women while assaulting her mother between 12:30am and 1:20am. He is also accused of assaulting the tied-up woman between 1am and 1:20am.

In a separate allegation, Ridings is accused of secretly filming a third woman engaging in a 'private act' without her consent for his sexual gratification.

Police have also charged him with two counts of administering poison with the intention of causing injury or distress. However, available court information does not establish who was allegedly poisoned, how many people were affected or what substance was involved.

Investigators have further charged Ridings with five counts of aggravated sexual assault involving other people and one count involving an alleged victim under the age of 16. These allegations form part of the wider investigation into his suspected offending.

Disturbing Posts and Second Arrest

The investigation has also drawn attention to social media posts from an account believed to belong to Ridings, which allegedly contained misogynistic and violent language.

One post read: 'A woman's lady part shouldn't be called a P***y!! It should be call a 'Put-Cha!' Put-Cha in your feeling, Put-Cha in jail, Put-Cha on child support, Put-Cha in all kinds of messed up situations. lol!!'

The account's final public post reportedly read: 'My demons will bend your demons over.'

Meanwhile, police have confirmed that a second man has been arrested in connection with the investigation. Marcus Roy John, 41, has been charged with three counts of sexual intercourse without consent involving one of Ridings' three alleged victims.

According to court documents, the first alleged incident took place in Tumbi Umbi on 22 November 2024. He is further accused of committing the same offence on 9 February 2025 and 9 May 2025.

John has been refused bail and is due to appear at Wyong Local Court on 9 December 2026. Ridings remains in custody ahead of his appearance at the same court on 8 December 2026.
