Ella Bright is blushing hard, and no, it is not because of a lineup of charming suitors trying their luck.

The Off Campus breakout star has been named Rare Beauty's first-ever brand ambassador, fronting the beauty label's new 'Made You Blush' campaign. In true main character fashion, she is proving that while plenty of people may try, only one thing actually gets her cheeks glowing.

Spoiler alert: it is not the boys.

The Only Thing That Makes Ella Bright Blush

At just 19 years old, Bright is already having a majorly successful year. Her latest partnership with Selena Gomez's Rare Beauty cosmetic brand marks yet another milestone in her road to showbiz domination.

The campaign centres on the cult-favourite Soft Pinch Liquid Blush, a product so popular it practically launched the industry's ongoing blush obsession. However, instead of a standard beauty ad, Rare Beauty chose storytelling through a swoon-worthy concept straight out of a rom-com.

In the campaign video, a parade of very eager, very charming men attempt to impress Ella Bright. Think musician with a guitar, handyman with suspiciously perfect timing, an athlete in a cool jacket, and just enough flirty chaos to nearly launch a mini spin-off of Off Campus.

Despite their charms, looks, and talent, none of these hopeful boys managed to make her blush.

'People are always trying to make me blush', Bright says in the clip. 'Funny thing is, no one ever can.'

In the latter part of the video, the actress finally reveals the one thing that actually gets her cheeks rosy. 'Turns out, there's only one thing that makes me blush: Soft Pinch Liquid Blush by Rare Beauty.'

Supporters made their voices heard on Instagram, applauding the ad with comments like, 'Marketing 👏' and 'I LOVE GREAT MARKETING'. Others upgraded the sentiment: 'please give the marketing team a well deserved raise 🌟 this is perfect!!'

Other social media users didn't even try to be subtle about their enthusiasm, making clever puns in relation to Off Campus. 'I'm UNWELLSY! This is a perfect collab'.

Another fan on Instagram highlighted the perfect pairing between the actress and the beauty brand: 'The perfect Rare Girl! She represents everything Rare Beauty stands for so beautifully❤️'.

Even the footwear brand, TOMS, couldn't resist joining in on the praise, commenting, 'Obsessed is an understatement!!!'

From Fake Dating to Beauty Darling

If the campaign looks a little familiar, that is because it cleverly mirrors Bright's on-screen world that involves fake dating and a series of unexpected love interests making a play for her heart.

The actress rose to fame by portraying the role of Hannah Wells in Off Campus, where fake dating, mixed signals, and accidental feelings are basically part of the curriculum. So watching her casually reject a lineup of suitors while staying perfectly composed feels very on brand.

The storyline is also part of what makes the campaign click. Apart from selling a product, it plays into the persona fans already love.

Add in a soft 90s-inspired aesthetic, cosy cardigans, and that warm girl-next-door energy, and suddenly you have a makeup campaign that makes everyone want to blush on demand courtesy of Rare Beauty.

A Bright and Blushing Breakout Star

Thanks to her hit show and now a major beauty deal under her belt, Ella Bright is having a moment that sets the tone for her career in the spotlight.

With the quirky campaign proving that it takes more than a charismatic smile and a varsity jacket to make a girl blush, Rare Beauty has launched yet another reason for people to love its products.

Because sometimes, no matter how handsome the boys are, the only thing worth falling for is a really good blush.
