Jazzma Kendrick is speaking out about alleged domestic abuse and urging women not to wait around for a second warning. The model and content creator has accused her former boyfriend, rapper Rick Ross, of physically abusing her, claiming he once left her with a 'busted' lip.
Her message to women in similar situations was blunt: 'If a man hits you one time, he will do it again. Don't give him the opportunity. Value your life and leave.'
Sharing Experiences and a Warning
The 39-year-old model and content creator shared photographs of an apparent injury alongside a series of Instagram Stories addressing the alleged violence. The allegations surfaced on Saturday, 26 September, after Kendrick responded to an Instagram user who commented on a selfie, writing that they could see what Ross saw because she was 'so gorgeous'.
'He saw a punching bag,' she wrote. She later shared an image appearing to show an injury to her lip, captioning it: 'The day Rick busted my lip and the day I left.'
A Dramatic Turn
In another post, Kendrick wrote: 'I don't know a lot of things, but I do know that a man that puts his hands on me, is a man that never loved me and never will.' The posts marked a dramatic turn for a relationship that had already been on and off in the public eye.
Kendrick and Ross began appearing together publicly in 2025. The couple were pictured cosying up and sharing a kiss during the event. Following that, their relationship later went through a reported split before they appeared to reconcile. The pair were still being photographed together in 2026, including at the BET Awards in June.
Kendrick says physical violence was the reason she ultimately walked away. He has not publicly specified when or where the alleged incident occurred, and her posts do not establish whether police were contacted or whether any formal complaint was made.
Addressing the allegations in what she stated was her final post, the influencer issued a stark warning to her followers regarding relationship violence. 'It's always good until it isn't. If a man hits you one time, he will do it again. Don't give him the opportunity. Value your life and leave,' Kendrick wrote, concluding her statement with a heart and prayer-hands emoji.
A Message From 50 Cent
As of the latest reports, Ross had not publicly responded to Kendrick's allegations. PEOPLE reported that a representative for the rapper had not immediately responded to its request for comment.
The story has also drawn attention from one of Ross's most famous rivals. 50 Cent, who has been feuding with Ross for years, reacted to the allegations on social media. 'This punk put his hands on baby girl,' he wrote, adding: 'I'd laugh at him, but domestic violence is not a joke.'
While 50 Cent's reaction has inevitably pulled the allegations into the pair's long-running public feud, his comments do not independently confirm Kendrick's account.
