Jordyn Woods turned heads at Vogue World: Milano in a sculptural white gown, but some people online seemed far more interested in her arms than her outfit. The model and entrepreneur showed up in a sleeveless look that left her arms completely bare, prompting a wave of comments about visible skin texture and loose skin.

Not everyone was impressed. Some social media users criticised the appearance of her arms, with a few suggesting she should have covered them or used body makeup. Others pushed back, arguing that Woods should not have to hide perfectly normal changes to her body just to satisfy online beauty standards.

Jordyn Woods at Vogue World Milano

Woods attended Vogue World: Milano on 22 September as part of the star-studded event celebrating Italian fashion and craftsmanship during Milan Fashion Week. The event took place at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and brought together celebrities from fashion, film, music and sport.

For the occasion, Woods wore a striking white gown with a high neckline, sleeveless cut, padded shoulders and a sculptural shape around the waist. The floor-length design featured a draped peplum-style detail, while metallic gold fringe fell down the front of the dress.

She finished the look with pointed gold pumps and wore her hair pulled into a sleek updo, keeping the attention firmly on the dramatic silhouette.

Woods was attending as a guest. She joined a long list of familiar faces at the Milan event, which included stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Taraji P Henson, Naomi Campbell and Pamela Anderson.

Why Her Arms Spark Backlash

Once photos from the event began circulating, attention quickly shifted from Woods' gown to her arms.

Some commenters were blunt about what they saw. One wrote: 'Looks awful lol all that money I would've removed the stretch marks and loose skin tbh.' Another said: 'They could have added makeup to her arms.'

Others were even more focused on the issue, with one person writing: 'All anyone can pay attention to is the loose skin on her arms.'

But there was also plenty of support for Woods. One commenter wrote: 'Good to see a woman who DGAF,' while another called out the contradiction of criticising women for having cosmetic procedures and then criticising them for embracing their natural appearance.

'Y'all be the same ppl in the comments talking shit about ppl that get surgery but when they embrace themselves yall body shame them,' one user wrote.

Another echoed the same sentiment but defended Woods by pointing to her weight-loss journey: 'Y'all are so weird... jordyn used to be a bigger girl and she lost weight. y'all criticize women for getting work done and then criticize when they're natural.'

Woods' Views on Body Positivity

Woods has previously spoken openly about body image, fitness and learning to accept her body. In a 2016 interview with The Cut, Woods discussed body acceptance, saying people should accept the things they dislike about themselves while also working to improve them.

After her father John Woods died in 2017, Woods said she turned to exercise as a form of therapy while dealing with the loss. She has also spoken about feeling pressure around her appearance, particularly as she received more public attention and grew up around Hollywood.
