Katie Price has reportedly ended her eight-month marriage to Lee Andrews after discovering that a cryptocurrency account he had allegedly presented as containing a £37 million fortune held just £2.22.
The 48-year-old TV personality is said to have reached her breaking point after a financial expert accessed the crypto wallet using a recovery phrase reportedly provided by Andrews. According to reports, the account contained just $3, or around £2.22, despite Andrews allegedly telling Price he had $50 million, worth approximately £37 million.
The discovery is understood to have prompted Price to tell Andrews that their relationship was over, with the star reportedly saying: 'I have come to my senses—Lee has lied and lied and lied. I am sick of it. It is over.'
The £37M Fortune That Was Just £2.22
The dramatic financial revelation is reportedly what finally convinced Price to walk away after months of controversy surrounding her husband. According to The Sun, Andrews had told Price that he had $50 million in a crypto wallet and had allegedly promised her access to some of the funds. He reportedly gave her the recovery phrase needed to access the account.
When a financial expert was brought in to examine the wallet, however, the reported balance was just $3. That represents a staggering difference of almost £37 million between the fortune Andrews allegedly claimed to have, and the money reportedly found in the account.
The discovery is particularly significant because Price had previously defended her husband despite growing questions about his background, business claims and finances. A source said: 'The final straw came after Lee had told Katie he had $50million (£37million) in a crypto wallet.'
The source claimed the financial check left Price furious and embarrassed, adding that she had now seen the accounts for herself rather than relying on material Andrews had allegedly shown her.

Katie 'Has Come to Her Senses'
Price is reportedly said to have ended the relationship by WhatsApp. In a message to Andrews, she allegedly wrote: 'I have been played, and you are not who you say you are. Why have you lied to me?'
She is also reported to have told a friend that she was 'sick' of the situation and that the marriage was over. The reported split comes after a series of warning signs that had increasingly placed pressure on the relationship.
Price has reportedly consulted a top London divorce lawyer and is understood to have no plans to travel to Dubai to see Andrews, who remains in the UAE. A news media outlet has also reported that Price is concerned about protecting her finances during the divorce.
A Whirlwind Marriage
The couple's relationship moved at extraordinary speed. Price announced her engagement to Andrews in January 2026, only days after meeting him, before the pair held a wedding ceremony in Dubai.
However, that initial ceremony was reportedly not legally binding. The couple formally registered their marriage at Abu Dhabi's judicial department on 17 February 2026. At the time, Price publicly defended the relationship and insisted she knew what she was doing, despite questions already being raised about Andrews.
The marriage would subsequently become engulfed in a series of controversies.
Months of Warnings
Several women have reportedly come forward with allegations concerning Andrews' business dealings and personal conduct. Andrews has denied the allegations and maintains his innocence.
Among the claims reported in the media were accusations that Andrews had misrepresented aspects of his professional background and wealth. There were also reports questioning images appearing to show Andrews alongside famous figures including Kim Kardashian and Elon Musk. Those images were alleged to have been manipulated or generated using artificial intelligence.
Questions were also raised about claims surrounding his education and professional credentials. The allegations have not been established as facts, and Andrews has continued to dispute accusations made against him.
But the mounting controversy appears to have placed increasing strain on Price's marriage.
Prison and the 'Kidnapping' Claim
The relationship was further rocked when Andrews reportedly disappeared for several days while in Dubai. Price became concerned about his whereabouts and was involved in efforts to establish where he was. Andrews later reportedly claimed he had been kidnapped and taken to a secret location.
He was subsequently found in a Dubai prison.
Andrews has since reportedly spent further time in Al Awir prison amid legal and financial issues in the UAE. Previous reports have described allegations against him, which he denies. The situation left Price facing increasingly difficult questions about her husband's circumstances.
The Moment Everything Changed
For months, Price reportedly continued to give Andrews the benefit of the doubt despite warnings from people who had previously known him. But the reported cryptocurrency discovery appears to have changed everything.
The key difference this time was that Price was not simply hearing another allegation about Andrews' wealth. According to the reports, she had access to the account herself and had a financial expert check it.
Instead of the £37 million fortune she had allegedly been led to believe existed, the reported balance was £2.22. That extraordinary contrast appears to have become the final piece of evidence for Price.
She has now reportedly consulted divorce lawyers and told those close to her that the marriage is finished. After a whirlwind engagement, a Dubai wedding and months of controversy, Katie Price is said to have finally walked away—with the reported £37 million-versus-£2.22 discovery marking the moment she decided enough was enough.
