Lil Wayne appears to have found his way back to Madi Cannon, seemingly announcing that the pair are engaged just months after revealing they had gone their separate ways.
The rapper, 44, appeared to confirm the happy news in a video congratulating fellow Hot Boys member B.G. on his engagement to Brooke Jones.
The Rapper Had His Own Happy News To Share
In the clip, shared by B.G. on Instagram on Monday, 28 September, Wayne congratulated his longtime friend before turning the camera towards Cannon, who was standing behind him.
'And I'm marrying this one — this is Madison,' Wayne said, referring to Cannon.
After Cannon offered her congratulations to B.G., Wayne introduced her again, saying, 'This is my fiancée.'
The rapper then joked about his role in B.G. and Jones' wedding, telling his former groupmate to let them know what colour they would be wearing because, as Wayne put it, 'I'm the best man.'
B.G. appeared to acknowledge Wayne's announcement in the caption, writing, 'My lil Brodie gave me his blessings' alongside a tag for the rapper. He did not otherwise comment on Wayne and Cannon's apparent engagement.
The sweet moment marks a notable turn in Wayne and Cannon's relationship after the pair appeared to have gone their separate ways earlier this year.
Lil Wayne Previously Said They Had Parted Ways
Engagement rumours surrounding Wayne and Cannon first emerged in May, when reports claimed the rapper had quietly become engaged to a woman in her 20s from Indiana. Cannon, a 23-year-old social media personality from Kokomo, Indiana, was subsequently identified as the woman at the centre of the reports.
But Wayne later put those rumours to rest himself.
In July, the rapper addressed speculation about his relationship status during an Instagram livestream, telling fans, 'No, I'm not engaged.'
Wayne went on to describe his relationship with the woman as 'a beautiful thing' with 'an amazing person', before explaining that he had decided he did not want to be 'such a burden' on her.
'So, we decided to part. Sucks,' he said at the time.

Neither Wayne nor Cannon publicly confirmed an engagement before that statement, and Wayne's comments appeared to close the door on the speculation.
Now, however, Cannon has reappeared alongside the rapper, with Wayne himself referring to her as his fiancée.
It is unclear when the pair reconciled, when the proposal took place or whether their current engagement followed their reported split. Neither has publicly explained the timeline.
A Double Celebration for the Hot Boys
Wayne's apparent engagement announcement came as he was celebrating a milestone of his own with one of his longtime collaborators.
B.G. proposed to Jones onstage during the Cash Money & No Limit Tour's New Orleans stop on 12 September. The rapper asked Jones to marry him during the concert at the Smoothie King Center, where she said yes.
Wayne's message was filmed as a congratulations to the couple, making the occasion an unexpected setting for his own romantic announcement.
For now, the rapper appears to be looking ahead with Cannon by his side, with his spontaneous introduction of her as his fiancée offering the clearest public indication yet that their relationship has taken a very happy turn.
