Suki Waterhouse has revealed that she would consider a 'massive' wedding with Robert Pattinson, confirming that the couple have yet to marry as they continue balancing demanding careers, parenthood and frequent travel. The 34-year-old singer and actress addressed speculation surrounding their relationship in an interview published in the Sunday Times on Sunday, 1 November 2026.
Although she discussed the possibility of a large celebration with the Twilight actor, 40, the couple have not announced a wedding date. Waterhouse also reflected on their unsettled living arrangements since welcoming their daughter in March 2024.
While their work schedules and frequent moves have complicated family life, she did not identify a single reason for postponing marriage.
Waterhouse Reveals Her Wedding Plans
Waterhouse discussed the possibility of marrying Pattinson during an interview with The Sunday Times, offering an insight into how she imagines their future celebration. Despite speculation that the couple may have secretly married, the singer confirmed that they have yet to exchange vows.
'It would either be all or nothing,' Waterhouse said when asked about a wedding. 'If we were going to go for it we'd have a massive party, blow it out.' Her comments suggest that she would favour a large celebration rather than a small, private ceremony. Waterhouse indicated that a wedding would not take place before 2027, although she did not announce a possible date for the nuptials.
The couple, who reportedly became engaged in December 2023, have continued pursuing their respective careers while raising their two-year-old daughter. Pattinson's film commitments and Waterhouse's international touring schedule have also required the family to spend considerable time travelling. Although marriage remains a possibility, Waterhouse's comments suggest that the couple are not rushing to arrange a ceremony.
The Challenges of Their Family Life
Waterhouse also discussed the difficulties of maintaining a consistent family routine while both partners work in the entertainment industry. Since welcoming their daughter, the couple have spent time in London, New York and Los Angeles, often staying in rented accommodation rather than establishing a permanent home.
'Our life since having our daughter, which is strange and backwards, hasn't been anywhere,' she explained. 'We've been in rentals and moving every couple of months and we just haven't been home.' Waterhouse said their living arrangements have largely depended on where the family can remain together while accommodating their professional commitments.
The singer acknowledged that their lifestyle presents challenges, particularly when both partners have demanding schedules. She explained that maintaining a relationship can be difficult when neither person lives permanently in one place and both travel regularly.
Nevertheless, Waterhouse spoke positively about how she and Pattinson have managed parenthood. She said she feels confident in their abilities as parents and described their daughter as happy and closely connected to both of them. The family hopes to establish a more permanent home during a quieter period in 2027.
Although Waterhouse discussed these plans alongside her thoughts about marriage, she did not explicitly state that finding a permanent home was a requirement before their wedding could take place.
Nearly a Decade Together
Waterhouse and Pattinson began dating in 2018 and have largely kept their relationship away from public attention. The couple made their red-carpet debut together at a Dior fashion show in Egypt in December 2022 and were reported to have become engaged the following year.
They welcomed their daughter in March 2024 but have chosen not to publicly disclose her name. Their relationship has attracted occasional marriage speculation, including in January 2025, when actress Sharon Stone referred to Pattinson as Waterhouse's husband at the American Heart Association's Red Dress Collection Concert.
Waterhouse's latest interview has addressed that speculation while offering a more personal reflection on their relationship. Reflecting on their nearly eight-year relationship, Waterhouse expressed appreciation for the time they have spent together, and spoke warmly about their daughter and the connection they have developed as parents despite their unconventional lifestyle.
For now, the couple remain focused on balancing their careers and family responsibilities while considering their longer-term plans. Although Waterhouse has made it clear that a large wedding would appeal to her, she and Pattinson have yet to announce when they intend to marry.
