TWICE member Tzuyu brought glamour to Singapore's Formula 1 race week in a sheer black gown as she attended the Atlassian Williams F1 Team x DAN DA DAN press conference, uniting K-pop, motorsport and anime in one collaboration. Held on 9 October 2026, the event took place ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
Tzuyu joined representatives from Williams F1, the Japanese anime series and the fan platform Sector Zero, who is behind the collaboration, to discuss the crossover, which will feature the singer on its official theme song. The track and its accompanying music video are scheduled for release in early 2027, ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix in April. The partnership also includes exclusive merchandise and fan experiences, giving audiences new ways to engage with the racing team and anime franchise.
Tzuyu's Sheer Black Gown Brings Elegance to Singapore
Tzuyu's sheer black gown brought a sophisticated fashion moment to the event, balancing the glamour of celebrity dressing with the energetic atmosphere of Formula 1 race week. The choice of black gave the look a timeless foundation, while the sheer fabric added a contemporary edge.
Rather than relying on a bold colour palette, the outfit made its statement through texture and transparency, demonstrating how classic eveningwear can still feel modern. The appearance also placed Tzuyu's fashion presence alongside her growing involvement in projects beyond TWICE's group activities.
Since debuting with the K-pop group in 2015, the Taiwanese singer has become a familiar figure in international entertainment, with her work spanning music, beauty and fashion. Her Singapore appearance offered fans another opportunity to see her represent a project that brings together several distinct areas of popular culture.
Tzuyu Connects K-Pop, F1 and Anime
The Williams F1 x DAN DA DAN collaboration aims to connect audiences through shared interests in music, racing and Japanese animation. Williams has described the partnership as an opportunity to reach fans beyond traditional motorsport audiences through merchandise, social content and music.

In an Instagram reel from f__zine, Tzuyu expressed her enthusiasm for the crossover and her desire to challenge herself creatively, 'I always want to challenge myself and continue to grow, so I believe this crossover between DAN DA DAN anime, F1, and music will truly surprise everyone.' Tzuyu also says she's most looking forward to being in Singapore and meeting her fans.
The Singapore activation also included the Atlassian Williams F1 Team Fan Zone at Marina Square, which ran from 5 to 13 October. The free-entry attraction featured interactive experiences, team merchandise and items connected to the Williams and DAN DA DAN partnership.
Tzuyu Expands Her Work Beyond TWICE
Tzuyu's participation in the upcoming theme song comes as TWICE members continue exploring individual opportunities alongside their group careers. In August 2026, Jeongyeon left JYP Entertainment and signed with VARO Entertainment to pursue acting. Days later, Chaeyoung also announced her departure from JYP to develop her solo music, while confirming that she would continue participating in TWICE's group activities.
TWICE shows that leaving a group's longtime agency does not necessarily mean leaving the group itself, contrary to the usual K-pop narrative. TWICE, which debuted in 2015, continues its activities as a nine-member act, even as members explore different professional directions.

Tzuyu has also established herself as a solo artist, releasing her debut mini-album, abouTZU, in 2024. Her upcoming contribution to the Williams F1 x DAN DA DAN theme song provides another opportunity to explore music outside the group's discography.
With the track set to arrive in early 2027, Tzuyu is taking her star power beyond K-pop, stepping into a crossover where anime, motorsport and music collide — and proving there's more to her than TWICE.
