Cardi B has claimed another courtroom victory in her long-running legal battle against blogger Tasha K, after the YouTuber agreed to pay the rapper $60,000 for violating a court-approved non-disparagement agreement with posts about NFL star Stefon Diggs and Cardi's estranged husband, Offset.

The latest legal setback for Tasha K, whose real name is LaTasha Kebe, stems from Cardi's landmark $4 million defamation victory in 2022. Court documents filed on 30 June show the pair reached a new agreement 'to avoid the expense, delay and uncertainty of further litigation' after Cardi accused the blogger of repeatedly breaching the terms of a previous settlement.

The ruling marks the latest chapter in one of the entertainment industry's most high-profile legal feuds, with Cardi continuing to pursue legal action whenever she believes court orders protecting her reputation have been ignored.

Court Orders Fresh Payment After Alleged Breach

According to court documents, Kebe previously secured a bankruptcy agreement that delayed repayment of the multimillion-dollar judgment on the condition that she refrained from making disparaging comments about Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, or members of her family.

However, Cardi alleged the blogger breached that agreement after making fresh remarks about her estranged husband, Offset, and NFL star Stefon Diggs, the father of her youngest child.

In April, the Grammy-winning rapper's legal team asked the court to impose what they described as 'economically painful' sanctions, arguing they had been forced to monitor Kebe's social media activity and document more than two dozen 'egregious violations' of the non-disparagement clause.

The court initially ordered Kebe to reimburse Cardi more than $110,000 in legal fees. However, both sides later reached a compromise under which Kebe will pay $60,000 — roughly half the amount sought — provided she 'timely makes both payments'. If the payments are made as agreed, Cardi will accept the reduced amount 'in full satisfaction' of the dispute.

Cardi's attorney declined to comment on the latest ruling, while requests for comment were also made to Kebe's legal representatives.

Feud Stems From Landmark $4 Million Defamation Case

The latest settlement stems from Cardi's 2019 lawsuit accusing Kebe of spreading false and damaging claims intended to ruin her reputation.

The rapper alleged the blogger falsely claimed she had worked as a prostitute, cheated on Offset, used cocaine, and contracted herpes and HPV. Cardi argued the allegations were malicious and designed to 'destroy' her career.

In January 2022, a jury found Kebe liable for defamation-related claims, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress, initially awarding Cardi $1.25 million. Days later, she received nearly $3 million more in punitive damages and legal fees, bringing the total judgment to approximately $4 million.

During the high-profile trial, Cardi testified that the false allegations left her 'extremely suicidal' as they spread online.

Although the latest agreement does not reopen the original defamation case, it reinforces the legal obligations imposed by that judgment. For Cardi, it represents another successful effort to protect her reputation, while for Kebe it marks yet another financial setback in a legal battle that continues years after the original verdict.
