Except a closer look suggests Moore may not have cut much at all. According to WWD, her hair was parted to one side and 'folded underneath to meet her chin', creating the illusion of a dramatic chop while keeping those recognisable lengths out of sight.
In other words, Moore may have just committed a very convincing act of follicular deception in the name of fashion.

Moore certainly wasn't rushing to explain the mechanics behind her disappearing hair.

Moore's longtime stylist, Brad Goreski, reportedly helped construct her fashion look for the show, while WWD identified hairstylist Hoshounkpatin as the architect behind the hair transformation.
'Architect' sounds particularly appropriate when several inches of hair artistically vanished without demolition.
