Dianna Agron may not have said anything about returning to Glee, but Quinn Fabray suddenly has her dancing shoes back on at a very suspicious time. Just one day after news broke that Glee is officially returning with a new series for Disney+ and Hulu, Dianna Agron appeared in a TikTok recreating Quinn's famous choreography from 'I Say a Little Prayer'.

She was joined by her Industry co-stars Myha'la and Ben Platt, who stepped into the places once occupied by Brittany Pierce and Santana Lopez, portrayed by Heather Morris and Naya Rivera, respectively. Agron has not confirmed that she is returning as Quinn, so the video is hardly a signed contract from McKinley High. Still, Myha'la's two-word caption did little to discourage Gleeks from raising an eyebrow: 'timing, uncanny'.

Quinn Fabray Is Saying a Little Prayer Again

Agron first performed the Dionne Warwick song during Glee's first season in 2009, when Quinn Fabray auditioned for New Directions alongside fellow Cheerios Santana and Brittany.

The performance became one of Quinn's most famous numbers from the series, complete with its all-too-familiar choreography. Years later, fans began recreating the routine on TikTok, but the potential meaning of the dance challenge took a new turn when Agron joined the trend that she technically started.

Instead of simply recreating the dance alone, Agron enlisted Myha'la and Platt as honorary Cheerios. The trio lip-synced along while performing the familiar dance moves, with Agron naturally taking her old place in the middle. As it seems, her role as the head cheerleader and the Queen Bee on campus is still very much in effect.

The timing would already have been enough to get Gleeks talking and practicing their falsettos. Posting it immediately after the reboot announcement, then captioning it 'timing, uncanny', practically handed fans a magnifying glass, a metaphorical slushie, and a lot of hope to see the head Cheerio back on screen.

Could Quinn Return for the 'Glee' Reboot?

Disney+ and Hulu officially ordered the new Glee series on 21 October, with original creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan behind the project. Casting remains largely under wraps, but Murphy revealed that he had been in contact with around 10 members of the original cast and said they were 'very enthusiastic' about the idea.

Lea Michele is reportedly returning as Rachel Berry, the gold-starred, dictionary definition of a theater kid with big Broadway dreams, except she isn't above sending a rival to a crackhouse if they dare out-sing her.

Meanwhile, Heather Morris and Chord Overstreet have dropped their own rather unsubtle hints about reprising their roles. This means we might actually get a comeback from Brittany Pierce, the sweet-natured cheerleader who firmly believes her cat is a high-stakes criminal mastermind, and Sam Evans, the fiercely loyal protector with an absolute heart of gold. As for Quinn, she underwent one of Glee's biggest transformations during its original six-season run, going from McKinley High's ruthless head Cheerio and prom queen to a more complicated member of New Directions.

For now, Agron might simply be having fun with a TikTok trend that has kept one of her most famous performances alive. Then again, if Quinn Fabray really is preparing to walk back through McKinley High's doors, this would be one very Cheerio way to make everyone say a little prayer for her return.
