Piper Rockelle has posted images of what appears to be her giant Las Vegas Strip billboard with its vinyl ripped away, followed by tearful content about the sign being destroyed. The 19-year-old's advert promoted her OnlyFans account and carried the self-mocking line 'My digital footprint is cooked.'
Rockelle has previously admitted that some of her most talked-about posts promoting adult content were deliberate rage-bait, and viewers are now divided over whether her latest videos show genuine distress or promotional content. No police report, statement from the outdoor media company, or comment from Rockelle's team has been published to explain who damaged the sign or when.
From YouTube Star to OnlyFans Creator
Rockelle rose to fame as a child on YouTube, where her channel grew to more than nine million subscribers. It was later indefinitely demonetised amid lawsuits alleging abuse and exploitation involving her mother and management, and subscription platforms became her main source of income. After she turned 18 on 21 August 2025, she moved into adult content on OnlyFans, a decision that drew intense public debate.
Secondary reports claim she earned $2.9 million (£2.2 million) in her first 24 hours on the platform. Some critics have also used the word grooming about her career change, an accusation that remains online opinion rather than established fact.
Her earlier content has also come under scrutiny. Rockelle has previously said that much of her video output, including pranks, fights and challenges, was scripted and planned to maximise entertainment. Former members of her group, known as The Squad, and their families have also claimed that the channel used hired actors, including fake police officers in staged arrests, which leaves viewers sceptical about the content she publishes.
The Backlash Behind the Las Vegas Billboards
Rockelle shared 'THANK YOU ONLYFANS' images of the billboard, which stood near the Encore Hotel on the Strip. Earlier photos of the intact sign show the Encore in the background, and an X post from around the same time described it as a billboard on the Strip next to Encore.

Comparison of her posts suggests the later image shows the same Lamar structure and surrounding buildings, including a sign for Ribs N More. The damage looks consistent with torn vinyl, with ragged edges, hanging strips and exposed backing.

Some replies dismissed the image as AI-generated, though the location and structure match those in her earlier posts. The images show the damaged sign, and no verified account of how or when it was damaged has been made public.
Social Media Reacts to the Controversy
Reactions under her post are sharply divided. One reply praised 'real patriots' for doing 'what needs to be done', while another accused her of using AI to chase engagement. A third suggested Las Vegas must have prostitution zoning laws. Her defenders take a different view, with one commenter arguing that people are jealous and that her life and earnings are her own business.
There are still real patriots out there doing what needs to be done. Save our generation.

People are so jealous and they are getting mad at you for no reason, it’s your life and your decisions, you make really great money and you’re happy, if they don’t like what you do why they follow you etc. I’ll never understand it

These replies are individual comments rather than a measured sample of public opinion, but they reflect a polarised audience around her brand. In an internet landscape where creator visibility relies on constant engagement, the ambiguity itself serves a purpose: whether critics targeted the billboard or engineered it for clicks, the resulting online debate keeps her brand at the center of attention.
